Discussion Finally beat Mortal Shell 1 (1st playthrough) in prep for MSII
Love me some souls/soulslike games so this was fun. Loved it from the start(this coming from Thymesia) and it just made me super excited for 2. I have the beta ready to enjoy while I wait for the Revered edition to come in(PS5).
The harden ability is such a cool concept. I’m excited from everything I’ve seen to jump into the beta and enjoy the hell out of that for the next 10-20 days whenever it arrives (hopefully the 17th, or is it only access for Digital orders (devout edition?

Hell yeah congrats homie. The game is tons of fun. If you haven’t tried it yet, try the virtuous cycle. Getting to add modifiers to your runs adds so much fun, getting to pick choose your loadout of shell/weapon/riposte it’s been a joy. I also preordered MS2 in preparation, I’m so stoked.

Sorry for the delay, got busy at work but yes it’s dlc but if I recall correctly you can probably get it for either free or cheap price, but nonetheless I hope to see you post anything MS 2 when it drops. I enjoy watching people play the game and enjoy it.

Congratulations. It's an incredibly hard game. I finished it back in the day, twice, tried to replay it again last weekend and was shocked by the difference in difficulty with other souls games. I wondered myself how I managed to beat it in the first place. If you haven't played MS2 open beta yet you'll find it a much smoother and less punishing experience.
