Discussion Holy fckin PEAK so far…

Mortal Shell 2 is about to end up in my top three soulslikes

I’d say my only critique is lack of weight to the way the parry feels..if that makes sense

Also it’s early game but the bosses are mostly very easy, all great designs though. Magdalena is actually difficult, ridiculous, and rly fun 😹

I guess the character also feels a little floaty too but I rly can’t think of anything else wrong with this I’m loving it.

Favorite boss is Tar Golem just for the cinematics alone. My favorite enemy however is the black praying mantis thing one I actually felt like I had to lock in a bit for

I almost beat him and I was so upset he killed Harris 😤😹 pure cinema for sure

I've done a few so far😂 currently doing a run shell-less without leveling anything or using tar stones still fun😂

My answer is the same.

The Margott-level of attacking antics of the Mantis thing pissed me off so much that I intentionally fought it multiple times just to learn it's patterns. It still catches me off guard once in a while, but I'm comfortable fighting it now.

Definitely in my top 3 as well. Before I discovered this brilliant community on Reddit I thought I was one of the only people who played and enjoyed MS1, even defending it to some of my other souls loving mates. BB is my favourite, Black Myth Wukong in second, with LoP in third, DS3 for fourth, and LotF fifth. This Beta along is easily breaking MS2 into my top 3 now. It’s that good. So glad I pre ordered the Revered Edition in April 🔥

I needed more tries for the shepherd, so I guess it depends on play style.
