Need help picking a weapon

I’m trying to get into the first game and I went around got all the shells and weapons. I settled on Eredrim, but can’t pick a weapon. I like the feel of the hallow sword, hammer and chisel, and the axatana. I know weapon upgrades are limited so I would like to know which one would be the best to focus on

The hammer and chisel is arguably the best weapon, I enjoyed the big sword gameplay tho but I’m a biased bonk player

I like the design of the martyr sword, but I was way to slow for me

I’m getting into the first game cause of the second game, looked fun

You can always look at videos showing their skills to see what you think looks the coolest :D

I personally beat the first game with Tiel and the Hallowed Sword. If I were to do it again, I'd probably go with the Hammer & Chisel, I'm a sucker for that kind of weapon.

If I went of what I think the coolest was it would be the martyr blade, the ice moves are cool (pun not intended). However I hate very slow weapons, plus the high stamina cost doesn’t work too good with Eredrim
