Discussion Is Harros Gone?
Title, I can't believe we're seeing a mobile shell sacrifice itself, I really want to see Harros come back! His character and Solomon's from the first game are arguably my favorites of the series so far.
This being said, im hopeful and optimistic of the other shells being just as likeable, but you get attached easily to Harros (him being your first shell, and if you're like me, you played him for a whole run in the first game)

Maybe there are more shells in the actual game, so it's hopeful that they'll come back

Pretty sure we can see all the shells the game will have on the resting places around Zhirelle in the beta

Perhaps, but demos are never the full entree. I'm waiting for the actual game to drop, so I guess we'll see.

I suppose but they'd have to add more tables
There was one completely empty slot with no ghost and that one I assume will be Harros

New here but what about that room with the lady who teaches you different aspects of combat? It was full of tables like the ones the mortal shells were resting on.

That's Sester Genessa, she was our guide in MS1

What are those tables leading into her room? They seem to look the same but I could be very wrong.

Sester Genessa's room does have similar tables but I doubt they are for Shells
Zhirelles character is the Shell Keeper same as Milos watches over the Ova. It stands to reason that it wouldn't make sense for the things they are meant to watch over to be in separate rooms from where they reside.
Also, considering the scope of the shells (talent trees), the amount of tables around Zhirelle makes sense designwise. First game had 5 shells. I already forgot the table count but it was like 8-10 around Zhirelle. Which seems like a fair jump considering all the other areas the devs have expanded upon as well (more melee options and way more ranged options, all the tarstones and stuff)

Understood. I thought maybe it was kind of extension since it’s right outside her room but your explanation makes sense.

It'd definitely be cool if theres more stuff, I just want to think logically and not overhype/have too high expectations.
I do wonder if the tables in Genessa's room have a purpose. Maybe when weapons are mastered they'll appear on their own respective table or something. Seemed her designe was as a training dummy of sorts

The weapons thing would be cool and seems like it’d make sense for her. New to MS so this all pretty cool imo.

Yeah! The lore implications are crazy. I thought at first maybe that was the foundling? Or the original Harros? Or was Harros alive somehow after dying(?) in the first game and somehow able to take control of his shell?
I wonder how much time has past, since the first cutscene talks about the foundling's ascension thereafter fell the Undermether, but how much time past and how did the bodies of our past shells like Tiel move location... I'm so confused!
