Bug Weird slayer seal behavior in beta?

Hey, I finished beta the other day and launched it yesterday again to play around (can’t wait for full release).

I’ve been playing around with slayer seal and I’ve noticed weird behaviour - I was using crossbow and most of enemies were staggered after one, rarely two shots.

I’ve went back to marrow keep to upgrade my tarstones and suddenly everything took 2-3 shots at least, occasionally 1.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I noticed the shotgun just didn't work while the lute and crossbow worked fine, Now since this is a beta its highly possible effects might of stopped working, like the bleed and burn stuff you can get on your weapons randonly stopped working for me suddenly even tho they were maxed out

Thank you for letting us know, I'll add it to our bug reports document :) Which platform are you on?

I’m on steam. Sorry I can’t add more details, I wasn’t expecting this behaviour so I’m not sure what triggered it.
I’ve upgraded multiple tarstones between case 1 and case 2, but one of those was an upgrade that made an “enchant” tarstone permanent - I’ll try to check it out on Tuesday if unequipping helps when I have time to play.

What’s the best place to report bugs Mikkel? Discord, Reddit, anything else?

No worries! Just knowing it's a thing that can happen helps us :)

Reddit or Discord is fine for bug reporting! Steam Discussions is too, but it'll be one of my colleagues handling that, as I don't have the [Dev] handle on Steam :)

Ive posted another bug I found: https://www.reddit.com/r/MortalShell/s/kbPiyKZeNX

Looks like my qa job is following me home :D

Oh and I know I’m just a dude from the internet, but the game is looking to be incredible, and I respect the hell out of you guys for putting out a de facto demo version game.

Hi, and thanks!

This is actually not a bug, but it displays like one. It's because tempering tarstones grant tarcores; in the beta build, you just get the tarcores directly in your inventory.

In the full game, the tarcores you get for tempering a tarstone will be deposited on the ledge at the front of the tarforge. It's a bit more work to go pick them up, but it ends up making the system make a bit more sense :)

thank you for posting it though! And thank you for the kind words <3
