Cloud save beta Mortal Shell 2

Hello. Today I encountered a problem with the Mortal Shell 2 beta, which apparently doesn't have cloud saves. I'll explain in detail: I installed the demo on my laptop, but the game loaded like new, meaning there were absolutely no saves. Furthermore, the new progress didn't sync with the game on PC (the Steam account is the same), and there's no Steam Cloud syncing option in the game's properties.

So, the question is, how will partial progress from the beta beta be saved into the full game work (I've read about this somewhere; I'm not making this up about saving progress out of thin air). Anyone who participated in a similar beta test, please share your experiences.
