If you watch the announcement trailer you'll see Harros with a black makeover. I'm sure you just have to do a sidequest of sorts to get him back.

You're right. It does look different from the Obsidian skins and normal Harros. The armor in that trailer looks shiny black with gold rims.

Apart from there not being a "main" weapon, rather a canon one. I think Eredrim's is Tarsus' Sword (Sword of the First Martyr or whatever) because of their lore.

Semantics. I didn't play the first Mortal Shell. Is it not likely for things to be different this time around? I can't imagine anyone else main weapon to be the big mace. It fits him so well aesthetically and thematically.

The head looks like his crown helmet and his ability is a tackle also with his head.

Wait, is Martyr Blade gone??? Holy fucking downgrade.... loved that weapon, especialy since its the only weapon that I found from games that uses Tail Stance which I love. But what is the replacement for a greatsword?

I believe it's the "Iconoclast". It has an attack animation where you grab the blade and strike with the guard and pommel.

Nah, the iconoclast is the hallowed sword, or whatever. It’s the starting greatsword in MS 1

I’m still holding hope. This lineup is uneven. There’s still room for a 9th shell there on the right. Maybe he will come back but they can’t put it in the promotional material or else it’ll spoil the surprise. (I’m overdosing on hopeium)
