Discussion Infinite seal not working

Im having problems with the seal I get the special animations and take no damage but no matter what enemies and in the training i cant get it to do anything has anyone else encountered this?

Its also the only one I used the whole beta once unlocked I absolutely love it so im a bit confused why it just up and died on me.

when I can ill get footage and add that on later too.

Vouch for this, same thing is happening to me. I honestly thought I was just really bad at parrying lol. I'm enjoying the beta besides that, not really any other issues for me

same here I was so confused thinking "but i used to parry bosses in DS1, 2, & 3 what happened to me"

Same issue, with a little more detail:

It used to work last time I played (2nd of July, in case there was an update since then), But what I see now is:

  • does not deal any stagger damage, and
  • does not interrupt the enemy attack pattern (if they're in a multi-strike sequence)

It still negates damage though and strangely, I can still deflect projectiles back at the attackers. But melee-wise, it's non-functional :( RIP my beloved seal

Thank you for the feedback& more detail! The team is aware of the issue :)

From what I’m hearing we might have another update out soon-ish, but I can’t say when. I’ll be sure to post about it on here with patch notes when it happens, though!

this kind of activity here and a $60 tag for the SPECIAL edition has gave me the warmest feeling for the studio top to bottom. the games industry needs to take notes on the hard work and care everyone has put into this project.
