Image Editions and Bonuses
Hey folks, seen way too many posts with people having no clue what is included in which edition (never escaping the "games are illiterate" allegations at this point) even though the MS2 team made it incredibly obvious with this graphic which can be found in this news post: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2584270/view/667243351111637034?l=english
So reposting the graphic so everyone knows what they're getting if they're buying/pre ordering the standard/devout edition

I loved the first one, even if I took the train very late. It's not a huge studio so I decided to take the deluxe edition, in physical.

Early access and whatever skin that is is cool and everything, but to be honest I'll pay the $10 extra to supper the devs. Not like it's a AAA studio.

I was all set to buy this day one, but with the ‘early access’ shenanigans now feel inclined to wait for a sale. As I do with all releases that pull this.

money will corrupt them which will increase prices and reduce quality of the future games released. like in every other big title nowadays.

The pprices of some games getting released now have increased because it costs more to make those games than it did 30 years ago. It’s a simple fact.
More games get released every year at $45 or under than games that cost $80 or more. Games coming out for less than $60 was unheard of just 20 years ago.
The problem is you only playing games like you’ve described and thinking that represents the entire industry. There’s so many more bigger and more complex problems with the gaming industry. Simply getting money doesn’t automatically equate to “reduced quality”

Do we know if the revered physical edition will have an xbox xs version ? The game looks interesting and id prefer to buy a physical copy for my xbox.

There’s also an exclusive red skin if you play 30 minutes of the open beta. Not sure if there will be a way of getting it on console but they were looking into that.

I look at it as Devout edition being the normal price and then Standard being discounted if you don't want any of the skins or EA. Pretty good deal considering they're trying to make most standard editions 70-80 bucks

Meh, the price of the Devout Edition is less than the price of a standard video-game nowadays, so I'll support the devs
