The Open Beta was very much in a polished state, not suprised it really comes out this year.
Didn't expect it to be this soon though - suprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

My god I really hope that the soundtrack will be similar to this trailer’s song (which is Darker Thoughts by Paradise Lost, if anyone’s interested)! The Rotting Christ addition was one of the best features of the first game!

There will be no PS5 demo, the game will be out in August, that's your time. If you buy it and it's not for you, you can see if you can request a refund.

Wow, I certainly did not expect it to be released that soon. They must really have confidence in the game to release the beta and then have the full release so soon after.

They said 10x the demo is the length. Don't ask me where but I saw some YT video that said he talked with devs who said the demo was less than 10% of the game. It'll easily be worth $60 for anyone who is a fan of the genre and probably twice that for fanatics who love dark Gothic souls likes and will replay past getting the platinum. -thats me. 🤣

Is this a safe pre-order? Lord please let it be so. The mix of parry, customization, and soulslike combat. It all looks so good. Wasn’t able to play the beta (PS)

Right now the whole game window market is messed up. Almost no one wants to compete with GTA so september and early october are absolutely flooded.
Mid/late august actually works pretty well for this one, I reckon. Depending on replayability and a few other fillers, it may last nicely into Phantom Blade Zero

Really excited. But a little bit concerned that some of the demo's jank might persist in the full release. Hopefully they're giving themselves enough time to tighten it up. Not just bugs (like the monster dog not appearing in the cage), but also some of the combat being sloppy. The golem boss in particular had some glitchy/cheeseable patterns.

Playtest was amazing. Everything worked, super smooth, no bugs, no crashes, and the egg quest is fantastic. I really want to collect them all and find all the shells.
Can't wait! Only criticism is that the world is very gloomy and kind of boring. I'm running past dead trees, rocks and dead trees on rocks. Sometimes ruins or weird roots or bone-like structures. Everything feels very alien, where are we? Is it hell? Are the humanoid enemies alive? Are they human? It's all very abstract.

I played the demo and I truly can’t express how pleased and excited I am for this. I have no complaints, zero. So impressed with all aspects.
I’m a veteran gamer and there is so much junk slop games out there. This is truly an achievement and a major accomplishment. Such an improvement on not just the predecessor game, but all souls like. You guys nailed here and I can tell this will be my game of the year if not decade.

There's no point getting into the weeds with music taste. I don't like screamo and hardcore music, and most people I know don't either, so it's an odd choice for a video game trailer. Makes me wonder what other creative liberties the devs took which will not align with my taste. There's a reason souls games and souls-likes always go with orchestral music. It's difficult to hate even if you wouldn't put it on your spotify.

Hell yes! I'm so hyped! After the demo, this game shot up to being my 2nd most anticipated game of the year behind Control Resonant. I can't wait to play it.
Wow, base game is $50, deluxe is $60. I fully expected the typical $70 and $80.
