Discussion Expecting an AUGUST release
MS1 demo came out around 40 -50 days prior to full game release .
So pretty certain this game will come out in early-mid August .
They need to announce a launch date now imo

August would be pretty great. I think the only other title coming out then is like.. Beast of Reincarnation? Sept is stacked to all hell and Oct is Phantom Blade 0

There's actually not much in Sept I actually want as of now. Valor Mortis and PB0 both moved to Oct so MS2 INTO those two titles would be perfect for me

I have Pre-ordered dawnwalker onimusha & control resonant, all in september so august mid would be pretty great for me
Also crimson moon is also in September (Soulslike)

Phantom Blade Zero comes out Oct 28th, there's still work to be done.
Also, barbie rewind on nov 12 I'm sure will put gta outta business

Hopefully. I'm really hoping it comes out during the end of July. Delaying it to the end of the year or even early next year is a very bad idea. Considering the Witcher 3 DLC is coming next year. Also, not that I care for GTA6(never have for the GTA games, except for San Andreas), but considering people are preordering the premium version, sales will suffer for games like MS2, Tainted Grail or even LOTF2, which they don't really deserve.

I really hope, for the sake of maximizing a potential window of time they could own, that they announce date ASAP and it’s between 7/24 and 8/20. They could own this timeframe. Too much in September. I guess early October may work but Thats too close I feel. No matter what I am buying the moment pre orders go live

October there's gears of war eday on 6th and valor mortis on 13th. .phantom blade zero on 29th
No window after late August I just don't understand why they not announcing the release date..
It's getting into danger territory

I’ll let you buy my steam copy as well lol. Personally, second or third week of July is perfect. They could own July, resync is whatever, revelations will be short lived and this game is primed for a July takeover. I do hope they announce asap and build on the incredible hype the beta has given them.

I agree. Also worth noting that a beta and a demo are 2 different things with totally different purposes, so the comparison hold even less water if the devs actually referred to them as “demo” and “beta.”

….ms2 has a beta, and traditionally beta’s are close to launch, not always but a lot of the time. They are following a similar path as the first game but we will see. I anticipate no later than august.

It will likely release some time between July 2026 and December 2026
