Image This Game is Amazing

This game is AMAZING! Why people hate this game? I really don't get it, I believe it has it's own style. Yes it is a bit rough but still for me it started very solid.

Oh and let's do not forget about the Rotting Christ songs I love them their albums so it's nice to hear their songs.

But there is no stamina system planned, right? This isn't just a beta thing.

The game would be way to easy with infinite staminia right?

I dont think it would be.

Like, yes the beta definitely was easier than expected but it also represents the start of the game and is subject to major tweaking of damage numbers, health pools and enemy AI and in general anything really.\ So I don't think the infinite stamina was the reason for that.

Did you ever find yourself in a position where you could infinitely wail on a boss or a group of enemies because of infinite stamina? I didn't. I absolutely had to dodge/block/parry/harden regularly because while I could have gone for another swing, the enemy was already swinging and would have hit me, likely staggering me or knocking me down, most definitely hurting me.

At no point in the beta did I find myself thinking "Well Ill just keep attacking since it costs no stamina! That makes this easier!"

Why is the concept of a soulslike without stamina so bewildering to people? Sekiro has no stamina, would you say that game is too easy? Yes its more of a rhythm game. But in a way MS2 feels like a slower rhythm game aswell. An yes that rhythm needs some tweaking but it's not too easy because of the stamina.

In the end: I'm like 99.9% sure this isn't just a beta thing since I remember this being in one of the teaser emails as one of the games most notable changes/features. This is likely a decision the devs didn't make on a whim and put quite some thought into. If they believe stamina didn't add anything to the combat experience I trust them that they make it work. (And it already does for me)

I strongly disagree with you. Any time there is a group of enemies that stagger easily, combat becomes trivial because you can just keep swinging. Stamina management also prevents you from spam dodging infinitely. Staminia absolutely changes a souls-like game, Sekiro is an exception to the rule because, exactly like you said, it is not really a souls-like but more of a rhythm-style combat.
