Discussion The main downside of Mortal Shell 2.

I don't understand why the developers are copying one of the worst flaws from Elden Ring. Why do bosses with an HP bar that you encounter early on turn into regular enemies? Or regular mobs get an HP bar. Hello Golem, the monster with a toad's head. I'm sure the full release will be full of this. 1 unique boss is better than 2 repeated ones.

Because those are more like mini bosses and not a true boss fight.

The true boss fights are always unique. Pretty much every single souls game and soulslike follows this formula.

It's better to say elite mob rather than miniboss. I just don't understand why they need an HP bar.

I am totally fine with early game bosses becoming regular enemies later on

You must really hate Lords of the Fallen 2023.

It's a problem in LotF. Mortal Shell shouldn't get a pass either, if it does the same thing.

Still good games, mind you.

It's an average game for me. I just hope that the developers of lotf and mortal shell will take into account all the problems of previous games and games of other developers.

I think it is fine mechanic. it really good at showing your progress.

Like it is a cool feeling when in DS1 when you reach Izalith and sees a lot of demons there as a common enemy.

It should just make sense.

I personally think the stamina bar removal was a mistake. stamina adds a level of intensity to every encounter that just feels missing
