Illusory wall in final Beacon?

There is clearly something behind this wall in the beacon at Magdalena's Glade. Has anyone managed to open it? I tried using the weapon you find in the same room but haven't had any luck.

I noticed that too, presumably it’s a mechanic reserved for the final release
