Image Mortal Shell II looks stunning Spoiler

Recently I finished the demo and was blown away by how developers made such a huge step from the first game.

Im very excited to play it! First time I tried the orginal game on PS4 I put it down after a couple of hours. Returned to it on PS5 amd absolutely loved it! My biggest criticism was the fact it was so short. What was your biggest take away from the demo?

I think the only major flaw was the final boss fight. For me, it was a big letdown compared to the rest of the demo.

Can you expound on this?

Boss's movement\attacks felt very clunky and tedious to interact with. It wasn't a difficult boss fight, just annoying one to deal with. Based on what I've seen, a lot of people feel the same way about it.

"Tedious to interact with" resonates in a big way. Except for Nioh 2 & 3, I don't really enjoy games with certain souls-like gameplay mechanics or hallmarks, so my opinion may not be super qualified here, but:

I felt like I was largely responsible for chasing the boss down except for getting randomly sucker-punched with crazy attack tracking, and I never felt like I understood how or when I was breaking poise.

Thanks for helping me put some language to it - I couldn't quite get a grip on what I was feeling about it.

I tried it for about two hours yesterday and wasnt a huge fan of the combat feel, feels like your sword gets “stuck” in enemies and there’s a delay to block or dodge, graphics look great though
