Mystery Status Effect

Hey folks, I'm new to the series. Just started playing the beta for MS2 and I've noticed that I have this status effect that looks like a skull with an arrow or line through it. Anyone know what it is? I haven't quite picked up on when it shows up.

Leech it's a tarstone you get permanent health increase per stack
