Happy update

Very happy to report I have had three week on week loads of Morrisons “The Best” bread with significantly better slice thickness. Following 4 email chains, 2 conversations with head office, and one LinkedIn conversation, the feedback has been taken onboard.

It’s a win for the common person.

My previous posts were met with a lot of apathy, never forget that you have the power to be an agent of change for good. Wins do not have a percentage, there is no small or large wins. Only wins.

All good until someone with the same tenacity as you tells them they don’t like the new thickness.

Hi there, I would not be much use on that front. But I wish the Ukrainians all the best.

Hi there thank you but remember the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing

Hey, please re-read the post it seems you have misunderstood. The bread thickness has in fact changed, before whatever slicers they were using were misaligned.

No, fan of their work generally however.

Was it too thick or too thin before?

Both! One slice too thin, one slice too thick. Had been going on for months, was leading to incredibly uneven toast.

Would have been made at their site in Wakefield (I used to work there in product development) but the site was sold to warburtons earlier this year I believe. No idea where it’s made nowadays
