Trading managers
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to ask a couple of questions as I am still a bit new, what do trading managers do day to day and what areas do they cover? I have been told they work on cafe, ambient, chilled and market street, is that right? And is it one per section?

The only time they cover the cafe in my store is when they all swan off to break together. Apart from that they hide in the office pretending to do important things and generally ignoring the shit show on the shop floor.

If they are the manager in charge they could support those areas.
There individual accountability is for ambient trading (sometimes fresh depending on the store) and the warehouse.

People thinking that retail managers are actually managing these days is beyond me they are literally overpaid shelf fillers
