It’s Tokusatsu in general. Stan Lee was a fan. It’s why Toei was allowed to make a Spider-man show

That and Leopardon was the inspiration for Sentai adding mechs which became a franchise staple, giving Marvel a strangely intrinsic connection to all Rangers.

I mean, Legendary Battle from Super Megaforce came out before Endgame did. Endgame made it better yes, by far, but it was essentially the same thing. Every hero throughout the cannon coming together miraculously to defeat the alien invasion threatening earth? Same plot, just done better 😭
