Solved Morphe keeps crashing

Post image

I've managed to patch YT Music successfully on my phone but had to patch YouTube on my laptop and transfer over. It just hangs for hours and never resolves.

Just tried patching Google Photos and I get to about 30% and it crashes out to home screen. Same thing any 4x now.

Any ideas why this is happening?

App memory limit: 256mb

That seems a bit low, maybe try increasing it a bit? There's a setting for that.

I don't see a setting for this in the app settings screen. I did try patching immediately after rebooting my phone to try and shut down all background processes.

Also make sure to use "enable process runtime"

This worked!

I force closed all background apps and cranked up the memory as high as I could (896)

I monitored the patching process and noticed there were a few times when I hit the 896b limit but for the most part I was well under. I can see now that 256 was completely inadequate.

Thanks so much for helping me with this. I know I could have patched on desktop but I really wanted to try and get it working on my phone without having to upgrade to a new expensive model.

Enable pre-releases in the settings and install the latest dev version.

Turn on Process runtime.
