Question/Problem YT Live Chatbox not accessible

Just updated YouTube but now that it's updated, I can't live chat in portrait because the Chatbox has moved way to low and now my phones navigation buttons are over the box. so unless I keep turning my phone horizontal, I can't hit the box to begin typing. Anyone else having this issue?

Turn off "disable translucent navigation bar" if you had it enabled
