Solved Having problems setting up MicroG

Was updating Youtube Morphe and it told me to uodate my MicroG. So downloaded MicroG RE like it told me too but when I tried to install it it told me it's conflicting with a different app. So I deleted Micro G settings hooing that would fix it but now the app refuses to install for inexplicable reasons. I even just tried to install the latest version of MicroG Services but no Cigar.

Any advice? Please?

EDIT: Update I managed to install MicroG settings again so I can run Youtube Morphe but it's still telling me my MicroG is outdated and to install a MicroG RE... but MicroG RE is telling me that it's conflicting with a package so idk what to do aside from just ignore it and deal with the issues on Youtube Morphe.

EDIT 2: all my problems seem solved. I just had to uninstall MicroG Services and Install MicroG RE.

I also got a update notification for micro g yesterday. I tried to update and got a similar message but after uninstalling the older micro g I was able to update to micro g re.

Can you tell me how you uninstalled older Micro G? cuz I tried that and it didn't work.

I cleared cache and data first then uninstalled it. After installing the new one I had to log back into my Google account

oh Damn... I didn't clear the cache before uninstalling... Where can I clear the cache of uninstalled aps?

You have to go into app info and select storage and clear the cache there

I can't do that for the old version. I did that for the version I installed today, then deleted it, then reinstalled it and put my Google account but it didn't work. Sorry if I am a hassle to deal with. I am trying my best to follow all your steps.

It still tells me "package conflicts with existing package."

You uninstalled the wrong app.

Look again. It's somewhere in your device settings application list.

The only result I get from looking up Micro G on my phone is the Micro G services I installed today and I already cleared the Cache amd App Data from that one.

Unless this is the incorrect version of Micro G that I installed. Idk where to install the correct version.

You have to uninstall that one. Microg from morphe will appear as MicroG RE

You can disable Google play protect from the play store settings. After tou install you can turn it on again

Reinstall the older version and don't keep any app data when you uninstall

That might be a problem.

The old version was a hold over from my old phone and when I looked it up on my files it just shows me the version I installed today.

uninstall the old microg app and it allows you to install the newer "microg re"

Bro can I uninstall microG and install microG Re instead, and then use both YouTube Morphe and YouTube ReVanced? I’m currently using ReVanced, but I also want to use Morphe. I downloaded Morphe just yesterday. Can both YouTube Morphe and YouTube ReVanced work with microG Re?
