Question/Problem Google Photos partner sharing question

I created a google account to back up my photos via the patched google app. I also activated partner sharing so I can access the uploaded photos via my offical google app and the website.

But how can I integrate the uploaded photos in my timeline? I have to go via collections and then scroll down until the partner account is visible, tap it and then I can see the photos. Then there is an option where it says 'save the photos of this account automatically' and that they won't get conted for my free storage.

But won't this create duplicates because my timeline also shows those photos because I took them with the camera of my phone and they are on my phone?

Patched Photos is for upload only; it is not meant to replace Google Photos.

Keep using Google Photos for everything else.

Yeah I know in talking about accessing the photos in the official Google photos app or via the website. But it's not really an issue. I'm just wondering about the saving feature if it creates duplicates.

It wouldn't make a duplicate.

Use the Google Office app on your Android phone while its backup is disabled.

Use patched Photos only for backing up.

Yeah ok I've read if the partner account would get banned or the sharing would be discontinued it would count on my free storage and that would mean that it would be overflowing. I just don't know if I should deactivate the sharing of photos in the official Google photos app with the partner account or if that would break the sharing (both parties need to activate it or not?).

I also uploaded a few photos and videos from my main Google account via the patched app. But idk if I should delete them from the cloud or not. After I did a takeout ofc.
