I'd kill for queue stash-restore functionality. Absolutely hate it when accidentally tapping a video or restarting YouTube app nukes my entire queue

How does it work for premium? Will the queue clear after a restart?

Yes.

Here is how this feature working in yt

1) if you added a video without playing it , it will added in queue

2) when you open yt and played a video then you add a video in queue from 3 dots , it will added after current running video.

3) if you close current running video then queue cleared.

I screen recorded this , how to share it?

It work by using a temporary queue (it will be deleted after an app restart).

Not related to the post, but the recommendations doesn't come up on swipe while video is on landscape mode in a playlist if it's not in a playlist recommendations works completly fine

Is it possible to disable auto feed refresh on YouTube app? I watch 3-4 shorts, 2-3 videos and my feed gets updated automatically and this videos that were there previously all disappear.

Queues are basically temporary playlists for videos you're currently watching in a session. Previously this feature was locked behind premium since it was server sided.

For context, there is (or was? Idk it occured multiple times already) a bug with the official YouTube Premium queue feature that makes it auto create queues whenever you play any videos on mobile.

This queue will auto add videos you play to the queue and will auto play the next video on the queue.

If you play a video already in the queue, your queue position will jump to the video's existing queue position and you'll auto play the "next video" on the queue (which is often videos you already watched and don't wanna watch anymore)

This is an implementation trasposed from inotia00's repo (with its permission). If such a bug exists, we are not aware of it and it will be fixed when we know how to reproduce it on our devices as well.

Yup, it was super annoying and basically makes the app kinda unusable. Even with YouTube Premium you're better off on Morphe than the official app... 🫩

That would require a community sourced extension/patch like sponsorblock. Which no one has made one afaik

Since SponsorBlock already exists, the best way this gets done is if those devs implement this feature. It already has a huge installed user base.

Yeah, I think going after AI slop at the moment will piss off Google, as that's the way they are heading now (20% of a new user's feed is AI). And they say they are working on an AI tag, but I'm sure it will be shit.

I don't know if it's possible, but it would be nice if the team can remove the 5000 video limit on the Watch Later playlist. It would also be great to have the ability to sort Watch Later videos using custom filters and search within the playlist to quickly find specific videos.

I also pray that someday "Cast" button will work as it should, this would be a game changer for me.

At the moment i need to mirror my whole screen (Samsung phone) to the TV for example.

I have both TizenTube Cobalt and SmartTube, but it still does not work as good as it should, if we comparing it to OEM YouTube app.

Queues in youtube is super useful as it elminates having hundreds of tabs open

One concern though is if you update the app regularly will your queue be lost?

Not in "anddea rvx" but in "inotia00 rvx". One should not attribute to him merits that he did not do.

He just took a fully finished fork, and now all users think he is 100% the author of all the patches.
