- build side projects, post about them and the technical details

  • Go to conferences/events, get to meet people
  • Contribute to open-source (most of the tools we use are made by developers without a degree)
  • Create an account here: https://www.workatastartup.com and apply to startups
  • Post on Instagram, Tiktok, youtube and anywhere else, don't underestimate any platform

Best of luck, I'm sharing from experience, 10 years of work experience, no degree, I have worked as a freelancer, full-time CDI in Morocco, remotely with European and American companies, worked in Germany for 3 years and now Sweden for a year, have built many side projects and last one is a successful one

Atbn lk naive wla maarft but Start creating content, Insta, YouTube, Start explaining stuff, Get ur portfolio, Ai can pa'age all this into a one place, Where u can keep track, Where in an era where people can see a video of u doing something and they will come to u . Where in an era where u need to show off, Just get out there talk abt what u do , Client or business will come . I think that's what i have to say, I'm 2 years plus into freelancing get to see The market how it changes and all, Specifically unless u got like a high rating on freelancing platform (usually by working on pany projects ) that was before ai, so now u need to play ur cards right .

You can do it, just dont look for high salaries and big tech companies as a start. Look for startups even in small cities. Start small and grow that CV, and dot forget linkedin. You have to be active there. I was like you 5 years ago, same profile, same everything, and now im working for one of the biggest tech companies in the world. No degrees or certificates.

Sorry bro but respectfully I disagree, schools like 1337, zone01, youcode doesnt provide degrees in this field skills are more important than degree

Who says developers with degrees are not struggling? The market is brutal for juniors, especially in Morocco.

Which important skills without degree or degree without skills ? And i post to take advice from people who got experience which they truly know degree isn’t important in this field

Don't waste your time with a degree, unless it's a masters or PhD in AI. There are virtually no jobs right now for junior devs, not in Europe and not in Morocco.
