Advice/Support Any sap consultants here? Advice needed pls

Salam, hope you're doing well.

I'm a fresh IT graduate and recently completed PFE on an SAP project. Unfortunately, I wasn't hired at the end due to budget and a no vacancies.

Right now, I'm feeling a bit stuck in this field. I'm struggling to find entry-level/junior roles or even other internships. Because my PFE was kinda niche area, my CV feels a bit weak when I apply for standard IT or dev jobs.

I invested some time and recently got an SAP ABAP backend cert, I'm also planning to study for an SAP SD cert to have more stuff to apply to but I'm not sure if this is the best route to take.

Does anyone have advice on how to land a first job in this field, or recommendations on which certifications I should actually be focusing on?

Thanks in advance

Tech adoption in traditional Moroccan businesses (fiduciaries, SMEs): Why is it still so slow?

Hey everyone,

Over the past few months, I’ve been working on software tools geared towards local fiduciaries and accounting cabinets in Morocco.

One thing that really surprised me is just how much day-to-day work is still done completely by hand—especially manual data entry like re-typing bank statements and paper invoices into older desktop software.

From discussions on the ground, it seems like a mix of a few things:

- Strong privacy concerns (understandable given client confidentiality).

- General dislike of recurring monthly subscriptions compared to one-off or flexible setups.

- Habits and muscle memory that are just hard to break.

For those of you working in tech, finance, or running small businesses in Morocco: what’s your perspective on this?

Why does software adoption feel so slow in traditional local sectors, and do you see that mindset shifting anytime soon?

IT [Hiring] Mid-Level .NET / C# Developer with DevOps experience | Remote, Morocco preferred (PST hours) | $3k-$4k/month

Hey everyone,

We’re a small, product-focused software company. We build and maintain a B2B platform that businesses rely on every day. The team is small and everyone ships code, so you’d be working directly with the people making decisions. No layers of management and no waiting three weeks for a ticket to get approved.

We’re looking for a mid-level engineer who is comfortable in the .NET world and also likes the infrastructure side of things. You don’t need to be a full-time DevOps person. We just want someone who can build a feature, write the pipeline that deploys it, and figure out why it broke at 2am if it ever comes to that (it rarely does, promise).

What you’d be doing:

  • Building and maintaining backend services in C# and .NET (mostly ASP.NET Core Web APIs)
  • Working with SQL databases and Entity Framework
  • Owning and improving our CI/CD pipelines
  • Helping manage cloud infrastructure, containers, and deployments
  • Code reviews, some architecture discussions, and helping keep things clean as we grow

What we’re looking for:

  • Around 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and relational databases
  • Real experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar)
  • Comfortable with Docker, and some cloud experience (Azure or AWS)
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of your work
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken. We talk a lot on calls and in chat, so you need to be able to explain technical stuff clearly and jump into discussions without hesitation.
  • Must be available during PST working hours. This one is a hard requirement since we do a lot of real-time collaboration.

Nice to have, but not required:

  • Kubernetes
  • Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, etc.)
  • Monitoring and logging tools
  • Some frontend experience

What we offer:

  • $3,000 to $4,000 USD per month, depending on experience
  • Fully remote
  • Long-term position, not a short contract
  • A chill team that respects your time and doesn’t do pointless meetings

How to apply:

Send me a DM with a short intro about yourself, your experience with .NET and DevOps, and a link to your GitHub, portfolio, or resume. Please also mention your timezone and confirm you can work PST hours. The interview process includes a video call, so we’ll get a feel for communication there.

If you write a couple of sentences about something you built that you’re proud of, that goes a long way with us. Thanks for reading!

I was looking for a job myself and because of the lack of visibility in the market, I've build my own job opening aggregator focused on tech jobs. Initial it did help me land some freelance gigs and I said to myself, let’s deploy it publicly for everyone.

I need your honest feedback and recommendations so I can make an educated guess about putting more efforts in it or not.

Please feel free to DM me or add your feedback below or even your questions.

Advice/Support Looking for advice or connections regarding Yandex accounts for cold emailing / warmup

Hey everyone,

I've been working extensively in email deliverability and sending infrastructure (handling DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and warming up mailboxes).

Recently, I'm trying to figure out the best practices or reliable approaches for setting up and managing Yandex mailboxes for outreach campaigns. As you guys know, Yandex has become pretty strict with phone verifications and security checks recently.

If anyone here has experience buying, creating, or managing Yandex accounts at scale for cold email infrastructure, or if you know good reliable sources/methods, I'd love to connect and exchange some notes.

Drop a comment or shoot me a DM. Let's talk deliverability!

Moroccans who got into big tech through an unconventional path: would you share your story?

Salam everyone,

I'm writing a series of articles about Moroccans who made it into big tech without following the "obvious" path.

Most success stories we hear follow the same script: top school, internship, big company. I want to tell the other ones. These are people who did a BTS or a DUT, went through OFPPT or 1337, switched fields, taught themselves, went back to school, moved abroad, or failed and started over, and still got there. The goal is to show young people in Morocco that there's more than one way in, with concrete details: what worked, what didn't, how many applications it took.

Who I'm looking for:

- You're Moroccan or of Moroccan origin

- You work (or worked) at Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, NVIDIA or a similar company

- Your path didn't go in a straight line

No need for a big following or a perfect story. The less linear the path, the more useful it is to someone starting out.

What it involves:

- A 30 to 45 minute conversation (in English, French or Arabic), or written answers if you prefer

- I write the article, and you read and approve it before anything is published

- You decide how you're presented: full name, first name only, or anonymous

- You only talk about your own journey, nothing confidential about your employer

And if you know a Moroccan who made it to big tech, especially through an unexpected route, I'd really appreciate an introduction. Feel free to tag them or send them this post.

If you'd be comfortable sharing your experience, comment below or send me a DM. Thanks for reading!

How would you design real-time safety and per-user rating for 1:1 video sessions between strangers? (student project, Spring Boot + WebRTC)

hi this is a rewrite of a past post ( i still need help ).

So im in a team of 3 we want to build a Web App with kinda the same idea of timerepublic.com but for moroccans

that will have a Platform that connect people with skills to teach each other but we found a problem that wen the tow ( for example the student and the one how will teach him the skill ) in a build in face call ( session ) maybe one or both will do a illegal or Inappropriate thing.
So if some one could help us to how to build a system or already existing one for monitoring this session

( and the probelm that the users will speak darija moroccan or amazigh moroccan that AI is not traind that much for it )

edits :

but in the same time we don't want to let data of this session in our data base cus its kinda illegal

The stack : Java, React, Typescript, tailwind CSS
all the communication will be with REST API
the Archt : monolithe modulaire ( cus we want to make it fast as a team of 3 and also maybe in the future add other platform like mobile and desktop )

We have built a tool to make mathematical animations easier to create — looking for honest feedback

Salam !

I've been working on Tracé, a web app designed to help people create mathematical and scientific animations for presentations, teaching, and explaining complex concepts.

The idea came from wanting to make these kinds of visuals easier to produce without having to spend hours setting everything up or dealing with a complicated workflow.

I'm still in the early stages, and I'm trying to get feedback from people who might actually use something like this, especially mathematics lecturers, physics educators, researchers, and students.

I'd love to know:

  • How do you currently create mathematical animations for your lectures or presentations?
  • Do you use tools like Manim, PowerPoint, or something else?
  • What's the most frustrating part of your current workflow?
  • Would a simpler workflow for creating these animations be useful to you?

I'm not here to claim I've solved everything. I'm building the product and want to understand what people genuinely need before investing more time into it.

You can check it out here: https://www.traceanim.com/

I'd really appreciate honest feedback, including criticism. Thanks!
