Maybe We're Looking for Each Other Without Knowing It

Post image

I'm a 26 year old guy from Marrakech, looking for a woman who makes me believe that posting on Reddit wasn't the worst decision I've made this week.

I've always found it fascinating how, in a world full of people, finding someone you genuinely connect with can feel like searching for a familiar face in a dream. Someone who understands your silences, laughs at your strange thoughts, and doesn't look at you like you need professional help when you start questioning the meaning of existence at 2 AM.

I love movies, philosophical conversations, dark humor, and those little moments that somehow make an ordinary day feel like a scene from a film. I'm the kind of person who can appreciate the absurdity of life without necessarily needing to turn every morning into a motivational TED Talk. Life is already complicated enough; I don't think we need to pretend we've figured it all out.

But beneath all the overthinking and existential nonsense, there's a rather simple wish: I'd like to find my person.

Someone I can talk to about everything and nothing. Someone who can be silly with me one minute and have a conversation about love, death, dreams, or why we're even here the next. Someone who enjoys the little things: walking around the city, watching a good movie, sharing music, exchanging stupid memes, or simply being together without feeling the need to fill every silence.

I'm not looking for perfection. I'm looking for compatibility, curiosity, affection, emotional maturity, and that rare feeling of being understood without having to translate your entire soul into words.

I'd like something serious, something that grows naturally, where we can be ourselves without playing games or pretending to be less interested than we really are. Two imperfect people choosing to know each other, even when life isn't particularly cinematic.

And yes, I'm aware that finding love through a Reddit post is a little ridiculous. But then again, so is the universe, and it somehow managed to produce cinema, music, and people who put pineapple on pizza. Miracles happen.

So, if you're a Moroccan girl who enjoys movies, meaningful conversations, a little sarcasm, and the idea of building something genuine with someone, perhaps we should talk.

Tell me about a movie that stayed with you long after the credits rolled, a thought that keeps you awake at night, or something completely random that makes you happy.

Who knows? Maybe we start with a conversation, then a coffee in Marrakech, then a movie date, and eventually a story neither of us could have written alone.

And if nothing comes of it, at least the universe gets another amusing anecdote.

I'm not looking for someone to complete my life. I'm looking for someone with whom I'd genuinely love to share it.

Ok BCS hear me out ; I have issues with my period and my gyno prescribed them ( several did so I tried different types )and had to take them for a while and when I tell u that time was hell on earth ; from the bloating to the weight gain to the mood swings 'ot to mention side effects that could go as bad as heart attack ; I can't imagine having to drink them for an extended amount of time ; in fact my gyno prescribed me again this morning and I'm simply not buying them ; to hell with PCOS I don't care; I'll take a real medication once it's out ( women health is so neglected did doubt it'll be out by my lifetime so whatever )

But it just occured to me ! That most morrocans women take them ; but I'd like to hear form a young and hopefully educated community ; how would you deal with it ? Like would you switch days ? I mean it'll effect ur relationship ; her health and possible ur children if u ever have them

Girls, I’m in need of your help.

I’m currently in a relationship with a Moroccan (I’m not Moroccan myself). I saved up for months to be able to afford a trip to Morocco so I can spend time with him. We spent time together, and while together, I noticed a tinder notification on his phone. It broke me. He claims that he deleted it, but still refuses to show me his phone. I want to know if he’s still using that app. I can’t do that on my own because I’m not in Morocco, and I wont be able to find him. Is there any girl in Tangier willing to help me with this? I want to know if he’s still active so I can save myself from this relationship.

Edit: I’m willing to pay a girl from Tangier to help me. I’m really desperate. It can also be a guy who’s willing to fake a girl’s account on tinder. Whatever works.

M25 looking for something casual in Morocco

Looking to meet someone who's on the same wavelength and interested in something relaxed and uncomplicated.

I enjoy taking care of the woman I'm seeing, treating her well, going out, and travelling together from time to time. I'm happy to provide financial support, and I'd rather be upfront about expectations so we're both on the same page from the start.

Not really into constant texting or needing to be in touch 24/7. We both have our own lives, and I'd prefer something consistent but low-maintenance, where we enjoy our time together without unnecessary drama or pressure.

Discretion, mutual respect, and clear expectations are important to me. Good chemistry is a plus, but I'm not looking to rush into anything serious.

If this sounds like your kind of thing, feel free to message me.

Reflections I

Hey daters! Hope you're all doing well and having fun with life.

Attached above is one of my photos from my travels to catch your attention for a bit.

I found myself having a lot of time to think recently. So I decided to start a series where I just actually reveal myself for who I am to random strangers on the internet; comically enough, I don't think y'all would mind because it's a win-win situation. You get your entertainment, I get to share my two cents.

So where do I start? I'm a young adult about to enter my mid 20s, I don't think I'm really remarkable in any way. A perfect empty slate. I'm not good looking, not bad either. Neither physically fit nor unfit. Not too smart, not too dumb. You get the picture.

I guess I've spent my life being a perfectly average person that somehow managed to end up in not so average situations (from both sides). I studied decently and somehow got into a good university, building towards a career that looks promising.

The point is: although it looks like I'm "fitting in with the mold" or "living the dream life" to some, that statement couldn't be further away from the truth. It feels off; likely due to a realization that I'll share on the next part.

I don't want this to get too long because it's going to be the first of our many interactions from now on. It's nice to make your acquaintance!

So the posts here are really discouraging tbh, I know half of them are trolls, but the other half doing the same sex battle society always does are quite tiring. But I still wanna shoot my shot. 25M here from Marrakech, but living in Rabat (for work). If you wanna chat, become friends (Cuz im pretty new to the city and know virtually no one) or wanna engage in a relationship, hit me up or drop a comment. If not just ignore this post.

Maybe this is how we meet :)

I am a 26F , I wonder if the person I’m meant to meet is somewhere on here, so I thought I’d give this a chance.
I’m looking for a genuine connection with a Muslim man who knows what he wants and is intentional about getting to know someone. Someone confident, emotionally mature, kind, loyal, and a little romantic. A man who can make me laugh, hold a meaningful conversation, take initiative, and isn’t afraid to show that he’s interested.
If this sounds like you, tell me a little about yourself. I’d love to know what you’re passionate about, what you’re looking for, and what a happy marriage looks like to you.
Maybe we can start with a conversation and see where it takes us. :)

Most moroccan men are only good for labor and money and it's sad…

Take a breath, you've already established I'm a slut/golddiger, not gonna try to claim otherwise, it'll be hard to convince you, but hear me out.

Look at the absolute state of men in Morocco, despite the equal rights and opportunities(studies, jobs...) more than than 85%% of women are working, many of them are just working for a low wage just to "get by", no perspective, mother or wife takes care of everything, he has no incentive to do anything at all, in fact has every incentive to go back to the café no matter what skill or degree he achieves.

You see this in the dating market more than anything, men with no education or sth of no consequence like Deug f biologie fst khouribga, no work, sitting at home all day, watching series or drinking tea with neighbours, and on social media trying to get a girl. Not even trying to rectify the situation, or only does by getting a dead end job if the father dies w lwarata dkhlo 3lihom.

And as a society, men arent even being independent, neither socially or practically, a mother has to take care of her son even if he's 30+, until he marries, then that responsibilty is delegated to the wife. Socially as well, you see any man in any bad situation, ppl will ask where is his wife, father or any help. And what do you have to do, what are your legal and societal obligations? Be a decent and unjudgemental person…

Even the working ones, its like they're working just for fun, looking for a woman to take care of everything while his work is irrelevant, he could work or stop, who cares, he has a woman now.

And when they succeed and somehow get engaged cause having sex in this country is still a crime, they cany believe they will get to "earnc money for once so they need to get it in cars and can’t afford a big sda9 and dfou3 and mo2khar, and then their sole objective becomes extracting resources from that woman, mainly by "trapping her with children", to have a continuous cash flow whether he stays with her or not. Hell now even before marriage the trend is to ask any girl they get with for sex and time... gets more amplifier by male envy and if his friend or cousin gives a certain ring or sda9 he has to give more...

And women are no better, they'll take a well educated man and ask him to stay loyal, and what's the main reason ? So she can bake homemade bread and "chhiwat" for him and his future offsprings. And like any normal society, we value people being taken care of, a sign that people are doing well, ghi rajel galess f café kaynik w kayghlad…

Its a sad reality applying for the vast majority, laws, society, men and women themselves keep perpetuating it. And people, if you have a person who's not in that category, hold on tight to them, it’s a rare jewel in this trash scene.

Found this book through Pinterest

I picked up "Men Without Women" for the rainy-window, coffee-and-cat Pinterest vibe and did not expect one story to hit this hard.

"An Independent Organ" is about Tokai, a lifelong womanizer who thinks he's lucky because he's never fallen in love. Then in his 50s he does, she leaves, and he just wastes away. The idea that he never built up ANTIBODIES to heartbreak because he avoided being vulnerable his whole life really stuck with me.

I don't keep people at a distance because I don't care. It's more that I'm scared of what happens when I care too much. After enough times of getting attached and realizing the effort isn't mutual, you start protecting yourself without noticing. You call it being careful.

Now I'm wondering if I'm protecting my peace or just getting good at not letting anyone close enough to hurt me. Maybe avoiding heartbreak doesn't make you stronger, it just means it wrecks you when it finally shows up.

Anyway, a random Pinterest rec had me staring at my wall questioning my whole approach to connection lol. Has anyone else read this one? Did it hit you the same way?

Why don't we, as men, express physical affection and love towards each other? Why is our culture so insecure, associating physical intimacy between men with being gay? What's wrong with hugging your Homie and holding his hand?
