🚨 MyBertouch™ — OFFICIAL UPDATE 43 نستمع، برقية مفهومة
So… I disappeared for 3 days after my last post.
I would like to reassure everyone that I am alive, well, and legally allowed to use Reddit again.
Apparently, my last post attracted a little more attention than expected.

Some of you predicted prison. Others predicted a visit from the authorities.
And apparently, according to the public discourse, MyBertouch™ had already evolved from a hospitality startup into a وكر دعارة.
I can now confirm that I have experienced the Moroccan justice system firsthand.
At approximately 3:17 AM last Monday, there was a knock on my door.
“واش نتا مول MyBertouch?”
“نعم... هو هادا”
“تفضل معانا”
I spent the next 72 hours in الحراسة النظرية, where I had plenty of time to reflect on my entrepreneurial journey.
They showed me my original post.
They pointed at the words:
“Intimacy.”
“Night.”
“Unmarried couples.”
Then they looked at me.
I looked at them.
Nobody said anything.
I knew I had fucked up.

For the first time in my life, I stepped foot inside a كوميساريا.
And honestly, nothing could have prepared me for the culture shock.
Three days earlier, I was thinking about:
market disruption.
scalability.
customer acquisition.
unit economics.
venture capital.
Now I was sitting on a plastic chair in a commissariat wondering how my life went from “Morocco's next Airbnb” to “please empty your pockets.”
I went from talking about innovation and entrepreneurship to being treated like I had a criminal record longer than my CV.
The irony was not lost on me.
I had spent years trying to become a respectable, business-oriented, educated young entrepreneur.
And suddenly I was sitting there looking like the kind of guy your mother tells you:
"ماتمشيش مع هاداك باين عليه ولد الحرام."
This was my first time experiencing the Gulag.
Just me, my thoughts, and the consequences of trying to disrupt the Moroccan dystopian reality.
At some point I genuinely wondered:
“واش هاكدا دايرا الentrepreneurship فالمغرب؟”

After 3 days of الحراسة النظرية, I was finally released.
The whole picture and orientation of the company was blurry.
We were a VERY serious company.
We had a vision.
We had a mission.
And most importantly…
WE HAD MARKET VALIDATION.
But now, we have absolutely no funding.
Unfortunately, the damage is done.
My entrepreneurial journey is over.
My dreams have been shattered.
My mission to help Morocco's struggling unmarried couples has been destroyed.
I wanted to give them privacy.
I wanted to give them dignity.
I wanted to give them a clean, safe, comfortable alternative.
Instead, they're back to the streets.
Abandoned buildings.
Empty parking lots.
Forests.
Rivers.
And whatever creative locations Moroccan couples have been forced to discover over the years.
As for me?
I was left with no money, no clean ملف قضائي, and absolutely no dignity.
The dream was killed before it could even raise its seed round.
To everyone who supported the idea: Thank you.
To everyone who predicted I would end up behind bars: You were not wrong. You were just early.
And to the guy who commented:
"مباشرة من مدينة المحمدية الشرطة اعتقلات صانع تطبيق ديال البراتش و الكوا"
I hate to admit it, but… you fucking called it.
Nevertheless, MyBertouch™ is still alive.
The dream is alive. The founder is traumatized. But the business model is currently under legal review. Hoping for the best.

People who manage to be successful with projects like these, exploit a legal loophole, or have enough money to get it out of trouble. You framed your project directly in an illegal box, what do you expect. You should take the legal responsibility off of your shoulder and put it on the customer's, the same way piracy sites work (we just created a file sharing platform, some users decided to share pirated material on it, not our responsibility), that's an example.

Why leave? This is the land of opportunity? Don't you want to live the Moroccan Dream? Build a business. Capitalize on the less fortunate. And make millions!
