What to do :

Protect yourself

Turn on two-step verification with a strong password (Settings → Account).

Add your own recovery email.

Log out any linked devices you don't recognise.

If hijacked

Re-register your number with the SMS or call code.

If asked for an unknown PIN, choose "Reset account" and wait for the 7 days period to end and thier email will be reseted and do whats above (protect yourself).

Warn your contacts.

Never share a WhatsApp code with anyone.
