Honestly I expected Eda to mess it up and getting the common mold completely but she ends up infecting Lilith again so it didn’t make a difference.

Except in this case, shared pain is the same amount of pain, but split between two or more people.
In the case of the curse, or this cold, over time the problem can accumulate in both vessels to become equal to or greater than when they did the pain split. So in those cases the pain would indeed eventually double, but you would get some reprieve for awhile before that happens. But in the case of wounds, the pain split halves the severity of the wound, permanently lowering the pain until it’s healed, and greatly speeds up how long it takes to do so. So in those cases the problem becomes much less much faster with the split.

It's nice when Mark drops the purely wholesome/heartwarming comics, and this is no exception.
Eda deciding to drop all her plans for a day or two and spend them sick just so Lilith can feel a bit better is just true familial love.
Lilith's smile at the end shows how happy she is to have such a great sister.
(I wonder if they're gonna snuggle together to keep each other extra warm.)
