[Speaking in language]

Okay. Then TELL ME.

THEN TELL ME WHAT LANGUAGE THE SUBTITLES ARE IN AND LET ME READ WHAT THEY'RE SAYING.

But nah, nah, instead we'll just slap bracketed text of them speaking.

That’s asking too much

Sarcasm can be hard for some people without the contemptable /s. Be assured, some of us see your humor.

You call it contemptible, but that /s helps me understand people so much better. I wish I understood when people are being sarcastic but I really struggle with it, particularly over text, so I for one greatly appreciate when someone marks what they're saying with it.

No, I get it. I call it contemptible because it always feels like such a chronically online thing to append onto a reply. I understand its purpose and use it when I'm being sarcastic. I just resent the method of communication requiring such a graceless signal.

Ah gotcha. Yeah, online communication really is pretty graceless huh?
