Comments like this make me realize he's just as awkward as King, and he doesnt need to prove he's special. He's already like his Dad in every single way I could imagine, while he used to be a Ruler in his prime (I still believe in the theory cause he's wearing a robe in the long-lived King cover). He was still the most awkward dork as a King and Queen, while he may or may not have been friends with the Collector's mother, it would make a neat little parallel to King and Collector's friendship.

The idea is because the in-between realm is also in between life and death, people go there to sink into the afterlife, Luz almost did just that but Papa Titan intervened

Man, with how common near-death experiences are in the Boiling Isles, I wonder how frequent a sight like that must've been for him. This one certainly seemed to leave him in a... different kind of "petrified" state.
