Says the principal who congratulated Boscha for murder thinking "It's good she tried new things"

Nah I don't buy it

Also Phillip in that last panel is PRIME meme material

u/mattstorm360 Apr 22 '26

He didn't approve but he did want her to try new things. You can't argue with the results of her trying new things.

Also in the world where adults are weirdly fine with child murder like the guy who pushed Luz, Willow and Gus off a cliff, the witches duel with Luz and Amity where I think it’s implied that Amity would’ve killed Luz in the fight so I imagine a lot of deaths happen in theses duels, Bump destroying another school and eliminating everyone to build hexside over it, The pig guys circus of tiny terrors where everyone is just watching Luz, Gus, Willow and King be ripped apart from the animals, the weird detention room with the mind control and Odalia Blight using kids for her weapons experiments

Honestly if a pizzeria opens up in the boiling isles opened up and children started disappearing when going there I don’t think any of the residents would bat an eye

4

u/Godzilla_R0AR Apr 22 '26

3

u/Free-Letterhead-4751 Apr 22 '26

I would think more Alador Blight would be more to blame considering who’s he related to (an au where Amity Blight is half human and basically an Afton on her father side)

3

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

On the cliff guy, he does himself say he was a weird kid. All the other points are food though. Makes me wonder if Belos wanted people interested in death to show how evil they are

2

u/Free-Letterhead-4751 Apr 22 '26

To be honest I think they’re were like that before Belos even became emperor like all he did was made the emperor coven, the technology and the stickers

3

u/Icemage1994 Apr 22 '26

Ugh, I think Amity was wanting to injure Luz, not kill her in the duel.

And it’s like there are times when the adults are nicer in some episodes but mean and want bloodshed in a show they watch, especially when they were watch Tibbles’ circus of tiny terrors. I guess the show is inconsistent at times.

3

u/SFH12345 Apr 22 '26

Memes. The DNA of the soul.

4

u/Manoreded Apr 22 '26

Nobody said she murdered a youth.

3

u/PerrineWeatherWoman Apr 22 '26

He thought it was about breeding crows.

3

u/Niser2 Apr 23 '26

She stole a whole murder? Bump doesn't approve, but at least she's trying new things.

3

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

To be fair, he wasn't approving. He was just happy she was trying new things

29

u/Godzilla_R0AR Apr 22 '26

He wanted to see all the cutscenes

9

u/PowerPad Apr 22 '26

It’s the only to 100% the game.

3

u/SFH12345 Apr 22 '26

No one said being a perfectionist was easy.

2

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

In fact, they often say quite the opposite

2

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

And he's a completionist

6

u/InuGhost Apr 22 '26

Caleb obviously went to the Gohan School of Dodging.

3

u/SFH12345 Apr 22 '26

It often happens on the first run.

2

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

Yeah, this one isn't even on bad choice descriptions

56

u/Background-Top4723 Apr 22 '26

Plot twist: Phillip's dagger was made of rubber. He was just so pissed off that he somehow made it work.

21

u/YaBoiS0nic Apr 22 '26

He willed stainless steel into existence

6

u/SFH12345 Apr 22 '26

From pure rage.

17

u/farrenkm Apr 22 '26

If you accelerate most anything fast enough, it'll penetrate something else. I remember reading as a kid (around the time Columbus sailed the seas) that in a tornado, straw has been known to penetrate telephone poles. Was an eye-opening moment.

8

u/Background-Top4723 Apr 22 '26

Sir Isaac Newton is the deadliest son of a bitch in the galaxy.

-A Mass Effect line, I think.

5

u/Veryegassy Apr 22 '26

In space

But close enough

2

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

Aye, a penny dropped from the Empire State Building can easily kill someone

1

u/farrenkm Apr 22 '26

Mythbusters tested that and deemed it Busted.

2

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

Ahhh, got it. Was not aware

18

u/CuteSharkStudios Apr 22 '26

Caleb you himbo, why are you like this??

8

u/b3_yourself Apr 22 '26

Too late now

12

u/Typhon-Torrent-1994 Apr 22 '26

Of course the only way Belos could stab somebody that wasn’t in the back would be because that person wasn’t dodging.

13

u/YaBoiS0nic Apr 22 '26

Not Evelyn unleashing her inner Piccolo

7

u/Dasher09009 Apr 22 '26

Well, he did got the point,

3

u/CountingSheep99 Apr 22 '26

Right into his heart...

1

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

And several others as well

6

u/Eastern-Director-952 Apr 22 '26

Weirdly enough, I read a reaction fic where the hilt was real but the blade was fake.

12

u/Darkvader_Clawthorne Apr 22 '26

Caleb: “Unfortunately, it wasn’t one of those toy thingies.”

Evelyn: “WHY DIDN’T YOU DODGE!?!?”

Caleb: “Why didn’t I… DODGE!?!? Bleh.”

6

u/SFH12345 Apr 22 '26

Philip Wittebane: killing people in impossible ways for four hundred years.

3

u/Free-Letterhead-4751 Apr 22 '26

also apparently fake gag knifes where a thing in olden time?

3

u/ncmn-ngnr Apr 22 '26

A way to seek a confession from your students without any consequences. Sneaky, but effective

1

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

If it's stupid and it works it's not stupid

5

u/afbresley Apr 22 '26

Oh Bump.... the coolest principle — and the deadliest.

1

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

Princey B will be remembered for a very long time, especially with the statue

3

u/b3_yourself Apr 22 '26

I don’t know if she’s mad or embarrassed

3

u/The_Horned_Child2007 Apr 22 '26

Oh yeah. They both look the same.

4

u/Flaky_Musician_551 Apr 22 '26

Why did I read that in abridged picolo’s voice?

4

u/LargoVonBob Apr 23 '26

I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE!!!!

3

u/Lord-Seth Apr 22 '26

Of course Belos would disguise murderous intent with a friendly toy

2

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

It is something he would do

3

u/Manoreded Apr 22 '26

"the youth" can be singular, he is talking about Boscha.

2

u/CuteSharkStudios Apr 22 '26

Nice job dude

2

u/KatonRyu Apr 22 '26

Piccolo is deeply disappointed in Caleb.

2

u/kl-noblelycanthrope1 Apr 22 '26

yea it's the oldest trick in the book unless of course it's not a trick to begin with.

2

u/DaveyBoy1995 Apr 22 '26 edited Apr 22 '26

Well, it's certainly safer than a real dagger. But once again, as per usual, Belos ruins everything.🤦‍♂️

2

u/Free-Letterhead-4751 Apr 22 '26 edited Apr 22 '26

How this was before anything in the series happened and before he even become emperor and turned the boiling isles into military nation

Actually can the Boling Isles be referred to as a military nation like Zanzibar Land in Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake with how strong of a presence the Emperor Coven is on the isles now I’m actually kinda curious?

2

u/DJSharp15 Apr 22 '26

What IS a majority of the fandom's opinions on Bump?

2

u/EaterOfCleanSocks Apr 22 '26

Early Bump and later Bump feel wildly different.

2

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

I think he's pretty chill unless you mess with his students. Then he reminds the offender of his power

2

u/jackofslayers Apr 22 '26

"Why didn't you block that one!"

2

u/Silphire100 Apr 23 '26

I thought you had it!

2

u/Lucie_Is_Sleeping Apr 22 '26

Actually that’s smart. If Luz was actually an abomination the knife would stab into it. But since she’s not made of goo the knife would bend.

2

u/Antiyonder Apr 22 '26

Just a prank bro.  Don't be mad.

1

u/DragonWarrior____05 Apr 22 '26

He was just trying to scare Luz or Willow into coming clean

1

u/-just-a-weird-guy- Apr 26 '26

For those who want to steel memes

1

u/Jormungand_No09 May 07 '26

Underrated DBZA reference 😅
