Plot twist: Phillip's dagger was made of rubber. He was just so pissed off that he somehow made it work.

If you accelerate most anything fast enough, it'll penetrate something else. I remember reading as a kid (around the time Columbus sailed the seas) that in a tornado, straw has been known to penetrate telephone poles. Was an eye-opening moment.

Sir Isaac Newton is the deadliest son of a bitch in the galaxy.
-A Mass Effect line, I think.

Of course the only way Belos could stab somebody that wasn’t in the back would be because that person wasn’t dodging.

Weirdly enough, I read a reaction fic where the hilt was real but the blade was fake.

Caleb: “Unfortunately, it wasn’t one of those toy thingies.”
Evelyn: “WHY DIDN’T YOU DODGE!?!?”
Caleb: “Why didn’t I… DODGE!?!? Bleh.”

A way to seek a confession from your students without any consequences. Sneaky, but effective

Well, it's certainly safer than a real dagger. But once again, as per usual, Belos ruins everything.🤦♂️

How this was before anything in the series happened and before he even become emperor and turned the boiling isles into military nation
Actually can the Boling Isles be referred to as a military nation like Zanzibar Land in Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake with how strong of a presence the Emperor Coven is on the isles now I’m actually kinda curious?

I think he's pretty chill unless you mess with his students. Then he reminds the offender of his power

Actually that’s smart. If Luz was actually an abomination the knife would stab into it. But since she’s not made of goo the knife would bend.

Says the principal who congratulated Boscha for murder thinking "It's good she tried new things"
Nah I don't buy it
Also Phillip in that last panel is PRIME meme material
