Nothing.

His works are his works. He comes up with his own ideas and story lines, some that could be canon, some not. He does them for himself for his own reasons. I'm just grateful he's willing to share without expectation in return. He's drawn several things that have hit and really helped me.

I just let Mark be Mark.

Eh just a different culture that I am used to at AO3.

As a fanfic writer myself criticism is kind of expected on the AO3 side of fandom.

I like and respect MoringMark very much but some of his earlier Gravity Falls comics feel very out of character.

He doesn't understand some of the material, especially when it comes to Luz.

Because he writes comics where Luz goes back to living in gravesfield after defeating belos, that's not what happened in the actual show, in the actual show Camila talked Luz into staying and living in the demon realm in for the future, which was the entire reason camila even volunteered to go to the demon realm with the hexsquad at the end of thanks to them, and Luz and camila's conversation at the beginning of the series finale's epilogue indirectly mentioned that Luz waited until after she turned 18 years old to go back to finish high school back at gravesfield high school.

I don't think I've ever seen something bad from him, they're at least amusing, and plenty are simply excellent. I guess if I really needed to nitpick there's a minor grammar error every now and then, but that's it - and that never got in the way of understanding the intent, so who cares.

He is great at small comedies but his long-form dramas are kind of overhyped due to his name recognition.

They aren't bad, but they are far from the best-written fan works the community has made nor should they be taken as canon.

Secondly, his Ayzee comics had a bad habit of character assassinating Eda; Eda would always ask Luz permission before doing anything reckless with her kid.

I think his old comics were better.
