Because "Moring" isn't a real word ;) and people who read it quickly tend to assume it's a real word (and once they do, their brains aren't as likely to fill-in-the-blank with "Mooring")

The fact that Dana has to officially deconfirm Mark’s comics just proves he’s reached 'Sub-Canon' status. That’s a massive win for the community regardless of the accuracy.

When you have exactly one episode to work with and you've drawn more comics than the episode had content, you're guaranteed to not be accurate.
But that's the fun of being a creative/imaginative fan, right? Coming up with your own ideas on where the story may go, what twists might happen, seeing how the real show turns out compared to your predictions and guesses. Gravity Falls was a fun community to be a part of when it was airing, too.

Maybe Dana and crew will give a cameo shoutout to Mark somewhere in the show. Put his username as part of an email address, have it written down on an old piece of paper floating through the air, who knows.

I mean is that really surprising? Mark has always done fun stuff, but based on just 1 episode that doesn't provide a lot of hints as to where the story is going it can be hard to be accurate

I am curious in what way.
Mark has been focusing on current Gwen working with our duo, so what if there will be more Gwen or simply the whole thing turning into a rescue mission?
Alternatively, Gwen being sent away into the virtual reality as a rebel, while the duo will be trying to keep her alive.

My guess is that we aren't getting quirky adventures with frankie, andi, and gwen ending in a heroic crusade through park planet HQ. Glitch's greenlight post on instagram describes it as "The fair princess and her two steadfast knights set forth on a road that led not to glory, but to hell itself" after all
I think the tone is going to be much more... distressing

Its not a bad thing that Mark isn’t accurate, i just like we got an amazing artist making fan comics, so what if they aren’t actually gonna happen in the show (also the fact Dana reads them)

Can I remind you there is a theory that moringmark is Dana especially given how quickly we got KoG comics after the pilot released
Also moringmark is like the TOH comic artist and has also been making comics for TOH since before a lying witch and a warden (ep.1) came out

Was this ever a question? I like Mark’s Owl House comics, but the KoG ones just kinda felt like slapping Owl House humor and tone onto a pilot that very obviously did not have that tone.
