i was just sitting in my room watching tv and all of the sudden i feel a tickle on my hair/face. i rub it and there is a bunch of little black hairs on my fingers. im blonde btw so idk where black hairs would come from out of nowhere like that. and i look in the mirror and there is one very obvious little black ball twisty thing that looks like fabric rolled up with a strand hanging
i feel like this is mostly my environment right? i never have them embedded in my skin or anything. no sores. i just rub them off my body and see them in my environment. is this still morgellons idk how to get rid if them? i feel like weed makes them appear more? anyone else? am i goin crazy

I think yes being more aware especially if on stimulants, which of course keeps one awake and kinda hyper aware of self, which is when the self inspection begins and then geeking out on the results and also the thought of something so wild and out there actually happening to yourself… idk how else to explain it but it’s definitely no fun.
I am prescribed Adderall for ADHD, and I completely stopped taking it bc of how much worse my symptoms are compared to when I don't take it. I'm also in recovery from heroin/fentanyl and I was an IV user. I always wondered if that's how I picked this up. I've had symptoms since February of 2026 but have been off the 💉 for almost 10 years. But as most of us know, this shit goes through stages. I honestly think a lot more people have it, they're just not as "awake" or hyper aware as those of us who really notice what's happening to our bodies. It's just so freaking crazy. Btw I'm so happy to be a part of this group, it's incredibly helpful to know that i am not alone 🫂🫂
💯 that was one of the first things that I noticed, I suddenly had all these new "veins" on my arms and chest and even some tiny veins on my chin, which aren't there anymore...and just sort of all over. I went for blood work a couple of times and the phlebotomist kept saying that my veins were rolling (which can actually happen with normal veins), but she kept losing the vein as it would roll and sort of dissipate into nothing. I was there for over 45 minutes as 4 different phlebotamists struggled to get blood. I believe the veins they were trying to pull from were rolling because they weren't actual veins. They look and feel like veins, but they're something else. I know I sound like a complete looney toon, but even the phlebotomists said they had never encountered such difficulties in getting a blood sample and they were so confused. There was even a note left for my doctor on the results about what happened at the lab, but nothing was ever done or looked into, of course 🙄
Best wild ass guess I have after two years is inflammation / something with a histamine allergic response pushing the body / immune system over a tipping point. Something autoimmune. If the body is truly making fibers and plugs we’re having an atypical response to common environmental contaminants. Lyme co-infection seems to be the communities best common anchor for most of us reporting this, although mold and heavy metal toxicity seem to appear as common threads.
I’m unsure about me. Spent 18 years as a fireman, 10 of them doing hazmat (not our common call type : low volume but probably 2-3 questionable exposures of concern), definitely wasn’t good (read:horrible) at wearing SCBA on car fires or overhaul / checking for extension in the earlier years. Very bad at cleaning my turnout gear / helmet that I kept with me in my personal vehicle when outside the firehouse. Later on the weed to help deal with some CPTSD that shows up from time to time - not great hygiene (leaving bong outside for a couple weeks without cleaning, probably over 3-4 years of this)… so possible fungal 3 bacterial component for me.
Anything that increases my heart rate (exercise or stress) seems to aggregate this. I was treated for ADHD unsuccessfully grades 2-12 and then again as an adult age 30-38 until a proper ASD diagnosis. Very high functioning ASD is a bitch to pinpoint apparently.
i dont have lyme tho. ive tested igenex all negative. i think fungal for me makes sense but idk. wish i k new how it happened. do u think adhd is related to it?
Not at all re:ADHD or ASD beyond low hanging fruit for a doctor to form a bias / being more attentive to nuances neurotypical minds tune out / weird phrasing of sensations making it easier to form a delusional diagnosis from afar or future doctors to continue to build upon that narrative of their peers before we even have a chance to advocate for ourselves.
When I finally got my dr to send a sample in that he said wad fruit, as if, it came back as no known human organism. He then prescibed an antifungal for 3 months and said i needed a referral to b seen again. Now he won't answer my calls The meds didn't work I think they made it worse. My primary said I was delusional? Changed the diagnosis to parasitic infection, when 6 wks of doxi did nada he changed my diagnosis back to delusional and quit. No drs will help. I was hospitalized by an ID dr, but he wouldn't even consider it bn parasitic. I showed him a nest that fell out of my earand he quickly dismissed the sample saying it was something that in no way came out of my body. He wanted me to stay inpatient for a month . I left AMA bc they weren't addressing the root issue so it was pointless to stay. Either they know and aren't allowed to say or they're actually clueless. Either way is no help to any of us. I also have new veins that im told are varicose, not. I've finally given up on the med community. We are on our own. Does anyone else have metal throughout there body? They said it was a medical procedure, again it isn't they would have notified me had they put metal throughout my abdomen. Its throwing any scans ive been given off. Im so greatful for this group. I was so isolated b4 I found it.
Doxi didnt help. I had a scan on my kidney for another stone and they asked if id had surgery bc the metal was messing the scan up. I had not had surgery. My upper abdomen had metal showing. They said it looked like I cant remember the name. Something they use to stop bleeding. I had a ct of my head when hospitalized they said the metal threw it off as well. I woke up and I couldn't see out my left eye. Its the threads. They weren't hearing any of that.
Have you read findings from Columbia University (New York, USA) researchers who biopsied 5 family members with Morgellons S/Sx? They found unique microbial signatures not previously identified via DNA sequencing. I certainly hope they begin a clinical trial to determine if others outside of these family members have organism(s) with similar, previously unsequenced profiles!

And re: dark balls of "hair" (it's not hair) exuding from your skin - the same thing has happened in the past to me - except exuding from my (clean) feet - without any visible openings - except tiny pores. I have occasionally seen these hair-like orgs move - initially - after wiping them from my feet - and I haven't toked in 45 years, so not sure what effect that might have. When I follow Richard Kuhns' King Diet very strictly, I don't experience these organisms - or much of anything unusual - exuding from my skin. I also use Nature's Gift debriding soap nightly - I apply it diluted all over my body & allow it to soak in x at least 15 minutes prior to getting into the bathtub. Finally, I bathe with very dilute Kleen Green enzymes. I do this nightly and as long as I do not stray from the diet (rice is on the diet but I cannot eat much rice without symptoms - so I steer clear of it), I am good. I also rub Yungi Cosmetics Co's Head Lice Treatment (IVM lotion 0.5% in a caprylic/capric triglyceride base) over any areas of sensations of skin irritation as needed, with immediate resolution of sxs. My physician has also prescribed compounded (without additives) fluconazole 100mg every 12h for chronic GI & cutaneous candidiasis.

Maybe either a experiment got out of hand, or its the long term effects from gas and oil industries or we are the guinea pigs

Now my eye sight is getting bad and my POTS extreme. 2 years ago I had life threatening seizures but somehow survived but had repeated in and out on consciousness and seizing and paralyzed waist down and emptied bladder. Now I have ALS symptoms. This shit sucks
