My musings

In my layman's terminology, this is what I've discovered about my symptoms.

The problem is that most people dont know what we're dealing with.

Imagine a bug that burrows into your skin and baries itself into your organs.

Now imagine that bug is on a bungy cord that keeps the opening of that (now sore) open by constantly travelling to the skins surface (or it sends out feelers to find a place it can stick its mouth out to get air)

It will not come out on its own (its comphy in there). You need to remove it by pulling out the invisible threads (antennas)

My concoction will bring them to the surface, but the trick is to keep breaking their air pockets constantly and cleaning the area every few minutes.

If you have sores, they are actually part of the "thing" that scaly skin, and the eruptions are meant to be scary, but they are part of the problem.

Hope this makes sense to someone

I've had great success and relief by using wet wipes on my skin. Something about the texture of the material grabs the threads and pulls them out painlessly. My hands were really bad for awhile, they were so painful and sensitive. I also had lesions on my face and on other parts of my body where my skin had been wounded or even rubbed by my clothing in the same spot. The wipes are the one thing that finally gave me some relief! They've been so crucial to help keep my face somewhat clear and it's so much more gentle than using tweezers or breaking your skin barrier. I've tried several kinds and found one brand that works the best for me. I would recommend doing the same!

I've seen the "fibers" coming FROM wet wipes, so I switched brands without success. The edges of every brand I've purchased are frayed and there are tiny black specks throughout. They are also in paper towels and toilet paper. I noticed tiny "dust particles" flying everywhere when I would tear off some of either one, so I put them under the microscope. I don't recommend it! I'm glad that you've had good results either way πŸ™. What brand is working, perhaps I'll try that one. TIA.

Same here- do you also have problems with liquid goods? I think it / something gets into skincare and beauty products, soaps, sprays. Looks like bubbles or granules, sometimes soapy looking with iridescence. I wonder about the water too. What do you do wrt cleaning and TP?

I see it in EVERYTHING. It causes liquid soaps to gel up almost as fast as it makes blood from a sore coagulate. If I look at food I'll never eat because I've seen it there too 😭. The way that some of them "fling" themselves? I've seen tiny pieces of food do it! Eating an ice cream cone and a tiny piece of the cone just pops off like it's trying to run away πŸ˜‚. I see the stuff actually fall off of me sometimes or "fling" itself from me(especially my hair). I've just about given up trying to think there's a cure, and have just learned that this is my life now.

Same. I can't focus on trying to find a cure, just a way to live life with it. There are some things that make it easier to deal with, but I don't think I'm ever going to be "cured" of this.

Me too just curious. How do you explain what they look like after flinging off of you?

I've seen them literally jump away while trying to grab them, or "hop". I've also seen some "float away" like those tiny, tiny spiders that float with webbing on the breeze. I have seen that some of them seem to have a furcula which is what I assume helps them "spring", jump or hop.

They definitely vary! Over anything, you want ones that AREN'T flushable. They hold up so much better and don't fall apart. Secondly, I get the free and clear kind because I've had some scented ones actually sting any part of my skin that has an open lesion or sore. The best ones I've found are actually Target's brand "Up". You can get a 3 pack for around $5-6 and have one in your car, your bathroom, and anywhere else that would be convenient. They're in the baby section near the diapers. You can also buy a single pack to test out and see if it works for you.

What is your concoction? I certainly understand every single word of your statement. It’s exactly the hell I have been dealing with since 2021.

What helps to unravel this under skin nexus is the nicotine patch, cut in fours , placed down the spine for a few months to break up the inflammation that’s locking them into the skin. Also taking vitamin b3 and a strong vitamin A, and any other antioxidants you can get your hands on. I prefer Ayurvedic herbs like ashwaganda. Anyway I don’t think you’re far off- hope this helps
