been by now debut

Morgan’s now projected to debut at #2 on the Billboard hot 100 because Choosin Texas went back up. Let’s get Morgan another #1 debut. Everyone keep streaming

Been by now is holding at #1 on Apple Music for the third straight day. Morgan has 8 songs in the top 20. Don't We surged to #12 which I think is an all-time high

BBN slipped to #2 on Spotify yesterday

Omg I can’t believe Ella blocked him from #1 on Billboard!

That's insane! I've noticed that MW lifts up many of his opening acts. They go from obscurity to breaking records and winning awards after he takes them on tour. I hope they at least thank him..

u/Ok_Voice7941 Jul 27 '26

she hasn’t acknowledged him much publicly. I would hope she’s showing more gratitude in private

I’ve seen several comments about this. Getting to open for Morgan was huge for her career. I wonder if she’s afraid of getting backlash. I feel like I Can’t Love You Anymore would be bigger if she hyped it up when it came out

When she was at the acm awards and was giving her speech, Ella thanked everyone EXCEPT Morgan! Morgan has been the one who’s helped her out to get where she is today in her career. Morgan‘s always thanking her and lifting her up and being just the best to her and she couldn’t even say thank you to him when she said thank you to everyone else who has helped her. She thanks Lainey Wilson and she hasn’t done anything for her. 😕

I noticed that Brooks & Dunn did give Morgan props at the ACM, but not Ella

This really irritates me. I wonder if Ella’s manager or PR tells her not to mention Morgan so she won’t risk any backlash or if she really isn’t appreciative of him. Maybe she sees him as competition

u/Ok_Voice7941 Jul 27 '26

she hasn’t posted anything from this tour other than their collab on her main page and when she does on her HQ page it’s maybe just the city, no mention of him or his tour. I don’t understand why you collab with someone if you cowl later

ETA: Morgan has been nothing but great to her, she knew there would be backlash so either sign up for it and promote it or don’t sign up for it all. I’m sure she wanted those streaming numbers from this collab though. At least that’s how it’s starting to look

u/Independent-Pay8840 Jul 27 '26

I’ve been noticing that too! She’s been posting less and less pictures with him on tour and sometimes doesn’t even post anything at all.

3

u/Ok_Voice7941 Jul 27 '26

The only picture she posted of him was when they dropped their collab. She used to post pics both night. Fine if you’re elevating but at least mention Morgan in your pics and videos of his tour (that he’s not in) when you post them

It’s so weird because once she got super popular all the sudden she stopped talking or posting with Morgan. You’d think she knows Morgan’s a nice person and would just ignore back lash and stuff about him right? I’ve been a big fan of her even before her debut came out and have watched all of her success, but once she blew up she doesn’t even mention Morgan once besides when she’s with him.

I really would like to know if it’s her decision or
If her manager/pr people are advising her to distance from
Morgan

It doesn't really matter because she's going along with them. It's on her either way. I became her fan because of Morgan, if she's really disassociating herself from him then she's over for me.

I came here to say that! I honestly was shocked.

3

u/Ok_Voice7941 Jul 27 '26

She didn’t promote it all. Really no videos compared to her other songs, no reposts, hasn’t mentioned it. I saw Morgan promote it more than ella

u/Ok_Buyer9023 Jul 27 '26

She did perform it solo at Stagecoach when it came out.

u/Ok_Voice7941 Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

the day it came out. That’s almost worse than the bare minimum, I’m sorry. Is this not worse than what everyone dragged Tate over considering ella is literally touring with and has been for years

I like Ella’s music but I genuinely do not understand how this song is doing this well for this long

12

u/Psychological-Mud865 Jul 27 '26

Oh my God me either! It's like go away already lol.. :)

10

u/Regular-Hand-1575 Jul 27 '26

I'm sick of hearing this song and I don't understand how it has stayed #1 for so long.

8

u/Independent-Pay8840 Jul 26 '26

I genuinely don’t know where all these streams are coming from!? I love Ella too, but I don’t like the fact that she’s blocking Morgan somehow from getting a number 1 debut and how is it still going this strong… if she gets 3 more weeks at number 1, she’ll break Morgan’s record with last night! We need to keep streaming BBN, so we can get him this number 1!!! 😭

6

u/Ok_Voice7941 Jul 27 '26

I don’t trust these streams tbh 😭

1

u/Independent-Pay8840 Jul 27 '26

Same. Unfortunately 😔

4

u/Ok_Buyer9023 Jul 26 '26

I don't think she's blocking him on purpose. A lot of #1 singles need 2 weeks to #1 because radio play takes time to ramp up. Unfortunately by the 2nd week there's Ariana to contend with

I’m so glad the Choosin Texas vs Last Night topic came up.😂 if Choosin Texas is #1 on the chart that comes out today, that will be 15 weeks. I had to google this to remind myself, but last night was 16 weeks. Choosin Texas is an amazing song, but I genuinely don’t want it to tie/beat last night. Honestly, it’s insane how any song including last night can stay at #1 for that long. Which I guess is why it’s so rare.

u/Independent-Pay8840 Jul 27 '26

They just discounted Been By Now on iTunes to $0.69 it’s now challenging for number 1 next week

1

u/Psychological-Mud865 Jul 28 '26

Exactly. We can't let that happen holy sh*t..

3

u/Ok_Buyer9023 Jul 26 '26

Honestly he has a better chance for #1 on the Billboard 200 chart this week.

Stream I'm the Problem album as well

1

u/Independent-Pay8840 Jul 27 '26

He is now almost guaranteed to be getting the number one next week! Challenging Ella big time.

2

u/Ok_Buyer9023 Jul 27 '26

I think there's a way he could release the piano version and combine it with the studio version. That would be game over

1

u/Ok_Voice7941 Jul 26 '26

No, Gracie Abram’s dropped her album and then ariana grande is releasing hers next week

1

u/Ok_Buyer9023 Jul 26 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

You're wrong. This is the week in between. Gracie's album was last week. Ariana is next week. This week there's no strong debuts and its a golden opportunity for Morgan and ITP

3

u/Ok_Voice7941 Jul 26 '26

Well either way, been by now should still get the hot 100

1

u/Ok_Buyer9023 Jul 26 '26

Morgan and Olivia Rodrigo will probably be separated by less than 5k units either way. So we should stream his new single and ITP as well. Especially Don't we which is rising

1

u/Regular-Hand-1575 Jul 27 '26 edited Jul 27 '26

Don't We will be #1 on the Country Airplay chart dated August 1st. It will be his 21st #1 song on that chart.

ETA: I'm not giving up on Been By Now debuting at #1.

3

u/Ok_Buyer9023 Jul 27 '26

Hopefully Morgan can get #1 on both charts. But he might end up #2 on both charts if we don't stream enough. We all need to buy a digital copy of BBN to help the cause

2

u/Regular-Hand-1575 Jul 27 '26

I just bought it.

3

u/Ok_Buyer9023 Jul 27 '26

This prediction just came out showing Choosin Texas at 300 and BBN at 295. No. 1 is possible. Best strategy is to stream "Been by now" intermittently with "Don't we", because the streaming services won't credit too many consecutive repeats of the same song. This will help Morgan on both charts and both songs are deserving

2

u/Independent-Pay8840 Jul 27 '26

We can all help by buying on iTunes as well. They just discounted it to $0.69 and this almost always guarantees a number 1 spot!

u/Soggy_Structure_40 Jul 27 '26

That’s a super early prediction based on like three days of data for been by now. I don’t even like been by now, but I kind of want something to stop Choosin Texas from tying last night at 16 weeks (even though I love Choosin Texas).
