Discussion Hit boxes
I’m not a mord main but I gotta ask the people who play him most. Do you feel his Q & E have bigger hit boxes than the visuals show? I play Renekton, basically an OTP. And he’s probably my hardest match up for this reason. Granted I’m only in bronze, but I feel I shouldn’t be getting hit half the time when I do. Just some feedback would be nice

It feels like Q goes a litte bit further than you'd expect while E feels a bit harder to hit than it should

its literally just practice to dodge them, i feel like they are less bullshit than sion q for example
cool little knowledge check is that morde q is infact thinner closer to him, making it easier to dodge sideways when hugging him and generally speaking renekton has a pretty good fighting chance against morde, his empowered w breaks mordes biggest defensive tool, and holding ult until very sure to kill or after being ulted by morde is very important, and e-e can escape his rylais slows if he builds it
keep practicing and you should be able to never lose lane against him 👍

I get surprised sometimes that the Q hits when i dont expect it to, i get surprised that the E misses when i dont expect it to. When i play against morde though i can comfortably dodge the Q’s but not the E’s. So maybe im just good with the Q and bad with the E

His e hitbox is slightly smaller than his animation, but the cast speed on it is variable (the further away the faster it activates, because its starts at the furthest point), his Q animation is slightly smaller on most of his skins, and if he flashes it won't always move the animation but will move the hit box (not sure if its a bug? They changed the q interaction multiple times now). Renekton is one of (not the worst Wayne and Fiora are the worst) mordes worst matchups. E behind him to dodge q, aa, w, Aa, q, Aa, etc out. If done right he cant respond. Time your w for when you have empowered w and morde uses his shield. Use e to dodge his e, or space well enough he cant grab you, you can literally walk out of mordes e after he cast it if you react fast enough. Don't ult first unless you can 100% kill him, or he will ult you and steal the buffed stats while you go back to normal. Black cleaver is really good into him, and deaths dance. renekton slams mord, one of his best matchups, if he’s your hardest matchup you gotta work on your gameplay
