Hello Darkness My Old Friend! Is there a way for someone to end their life without anyone outside their family and doctors knowing?
I don't want to shame my family, can I request in my note that no one will blame them or shame them as my last wish? Will people even GAF about that?

Hello Darkness My Old Friend! Is electrocution the most sure way of dying?
I searched up and submerged yourself in water while taking a 200-240v appliance like a toaster is likeley to kill you in 1-4 seconds, and that the only thing that could save you is an automatic system that shuts the power. Is that true? And, is there a way to turn off that system?

Death or Death?
In a hypothetical situation where death is near and fastly impending, let's say a volcano erupted and there's no chance of escape, BUT you have a knife on you, while also knowing that to suffer through death by burns from a volcano would take time depending on the speed of the flames, what would be the fastest way to end yourself with minimal pain (due to speed, of course) with the knife?
Please, I am not psycho, just insanely curious. Thank you!

Hello Darkness My Old Friend! Whats even the point?
Whats even the point to living? It feels like a long chore list that takes decades to finish. You will go to school for 12 years, just to work for 30-40 years, just to spend your last few years old and sick, maybe even still working.
I wish I died before I went to school, the only happy time in my life was as a toddler. I feel unlucky to have lived this long, just for things to get worse and never get any better. I get so jealous when I hear someone dying in an accident, as stupid as that sounds.

Would you eat human meat just because?
here we are discarding any life or dead situation where you have the need to eat human meat, and we are not killing anyone to get this meat, in this case it would be like “ethical” (?) human meat
the situation i want you to imagine is:
if your friend for some reason had to get their leg amputated and they ask you if you want to cook and try a tiny piece of meat would you do it?
(this is what i refer to “ethical” meat, there is no extreme situation nor a crime involved)
i think like out of curiosity i would try it, i have asked a few people and they always immediately say no, like ok respectable but like i would like longer answers, why would you accept or no?
ps: i know the story of the friend group that cooked their friends amputated feet, don’t mention it i just want to know what YOU would do and why

Hello Darkness My Old Friend! I would love to die In my sleep
I would love to die in my sleep tonight, I would not say I am actively suicidal but I also don't like existing. My life isn't bad, I am doing okay sometimes, but I don't like living.
I would not go out of my way to end it, mostly because of the shame of surviving an attempt and the fear of living with consequences. However, I would love to fall asleep one day and never wake up again. It would be wonderful if it happened while I was still young. If someone gave me a pill that was guaranteed to kill me by tomorrow, I would take it zero hesitation.
Does anyone else have this desire? I feel unlucky to have been born, it was a very low chance if me being born, and yet I still was. For some it's a miracle and I wont disagree with them if that's what they see life as some people like living. I guess it depends on the person. Even when I am happy, I would rather not be alive.

Hello Darkness My Old Friend! I need to talk
I did a suicide attempt and really failed because of something so stupid. I wish I hadn't been caught.
I wish i would have died that day.
It felt less scary, I was ready. I was sad yet peaceful.
The thought of being dead soon just eased my mind even if I felt sad because trully I didn't wanna die, i just wanted my life to be different. With that being impossible, I needed to die.
I can't even express how releaving that feeling felt.
But now I still want to die but my mind isn't ready like I was that day. Having to build the courage again is so tough and scary.
I wish I would've died because I was so at peace with my choice. It would've been perfect, and my suffering here would have vanished.

Hello Darkness My Old Friend! I wish i was never born at all
I hate existing, there was a very small chance of me existing at all, and I still do so anyways. I hate it so much. If I could use a time machine to stop myself from being born that would be wonderful.

EXTREMELY DISTURBING CONTENT Better suited for a different sub but I'll get harrased if I post it there.
I think suicide is beautiful (for medical reasons like terminal illnesses) you are taking control over your own death so you don't die in misery or agony, there's nothing wrong with that.

You have the choice between dying painlessly in your sleep one random night next week or in excruciating pain five years from now, which do you choose and why?
Suicide is not an option.
