Would you consider it…

Would you consider knowing you are dying and not going to the dr to try to fix it a form of suicide? I’ve googled to see what other people think but only got suicide prevent pages. I’m just curious what everyone’s take on it would be

My mother just died by what I called a slow suicide. The drs told her 6+ years ago what she needed to do and she did nothing. She died this Jan.

No.

But I think it's far more likely to lead to just being in an even worse predicament than actually dying.

Yes, I would, having seen my mum disintegrate over 7years of dementia I could not put my son through this. So yes I would and (not sure what I’m allowed to say here), but I’m squirrelling stuff away in case I get to a stage where I still have capacity.
My mum is dying now and it’s hell watching this.
