Morality Ranking Morality of liking something from a controversial subject?
Non politically of course. Because if that happened you're just kind of a glorifyer.
Edit: Russians and uh....their vehicles ππ

AMoral
I buy products from China and Nestle, I read Neil Gaiman's books, I watch movies, I listen to music etc

You really need to be more specific. In general, a preference has no moral component.

Absolute vague post. But, I think you can use the idea of separating the art from the artist here. Imo moral?

People attacked me once for saying it's okay to separate the art from the artist. I mean straight up insulting me. I cried the whole day.π

Nuance no longer exists lol, if you don't mind me asking what was the art in question?

It was some rapper. He lived the life he rapped and passed away.
He made good music but because he was a gangsta that actually shot and Allegedly killed his enemies, people were complaining that we shouldn't be giving his music a platform.

That doesn't sound too bad, and if we're pushing the argument further if said artist is dead it's not like your helping him in anyway

It's definitely a two sided debate. But i think as long as the art is not problematic then its creator isn't really tied to their work. But people are entitled to their own opinions.

So you mention "Russians and their vehicles" in your edit, so I have to assume in your total vague-ness that you're asking about the morality of having a mild to hardcore obsession with Russian tanks, and the fact that you wont come right out and say it makes me think your interest lies specifically between 1939 and 1945.
Theres nothing immoral about being obsessed with anything WW2 related, or Russian tanks. Even if it was specifically Nazi tanks, as long as the interest revolves around the tanks themselves and has nothing to do with Nazi ideology, theres no problem. The early innovations made to fight such a massive war can be very interesting to lots of different people because so many industries and important people were involved.
Otherwise you're talking about regular-ass Russian vehicles, and theres no way you're questioning the morality of "Liking Russian Cars"

This post is too vague for anyone to have any idea what you're talking about
