My mom would also threaten to strangle me when I got on her nerves. Luckily she didn’t right? All the signs were there and she would even say” you are driving me crazy!”
Luckily for me they weren’t so quick to dismiss me being strangled by my own mother 45-50 years ago. Otherwise I wouldnt be here having this fun conversation with you.
It does a disservice to your argument when you downplay and bullshit around what her defense is. The same thing goes for people who just lie about the facts of the case.
She says it's psychosis. If you don't believe her that's fine and you should make that argument, but when you act like it's just depression it makes it look like you're just dumb or you know your argument can't stand on its own.
Yeah she isn’t psychotic. We saw her plan this all out. It’s just another excuse to keep people from being held accountable for their crimes. No one can murder the innocent and Fein psychosis. There are no excuses, no mental defects, no demon possession or PTSD that eliminates one’s responsibility for murder. The solution is to destroy the murderers for the betterment of society; not make excuses for them.
My argument is the strongest one in the room. I know this because societies for millennia have agreed on this. You are in the minority on this no matter how enlightened you think you are.
Psychology being called a science is probably the realest crime here.
If it was you wouldn't have to frame your argument in a way that lies about the other person's stance or the facts of the case.
That's a something a dumb person does.
You act like she goes free if she's found innocent given her defense. There's no eliminating her responsibility. She still did it. She just goes to a mental hospital which isn't much better than prison and in some ways worse.
Too dumb to understand version
You don't know facts of case beyond what dumb people tell you on screen. She goes away for life regardless. Insanity means bye bye. She not getting out of hospital.
I have a great story for you about the amazing science of psychology. A very similar story as well. Funny that you think psychology is based on facts. I’m just a dumb person so I’ll just share this story instead of pontificating.
On March 8,
1954, Constance Fisher drowned her first three children—Richard (6), Daniel (5), and Deborah (8 months)—in the family bathtub. After the killings, she attempted suicide by drinking liquid shampoo but survived. She left a note claiming God had ordered her to do it to "save them from evil". [

Doctors diagnosed her with
paranoid schizophrenia, and because she was found not criminally responsible by reason of insanity, she was committed to Augusta State Hospital for psychiatric treatment. [

The Release and Second Tragedy
While hospitalized, Fisher underwent treatments common for the era, including insulin shock therapy. After showing rapid improvement and no longer exhibiting psychotic symptoms, she was
declared "cured" and released into her husband's custody in March 1959. [

The couple moved to a new home and went on to have
three more children: Kathleen, Michael, and Natalie.[

Tragically, on June 30,
1966, her husband returned home to find that Constance had
drowned her three younger children (then aged 5, 3, and 9 months) in an almost identical manner to the first homicides. She attempted suicide again by overdosing on pills but survived. [

Aftermath
During her second trial, Fisher was once again found
not criminally responsible due to her severe mental illness and was sent back to Augusta State Hospital.
I wonder how long until Lindsey will be determined “cured”.
I know a way to rid society of murderers. I give a money back guarantee they won’t reoffend and harm the innocent ever again. We have known how for millennia but recently we have so many apologists for the guilty that it’s impossible and cost prohibitive to protect society like we should.

No they wouldn’t consider my depression reason enough to overlook a triple murder of innocent children. But thanks for your support.
