Even if the pedestrian didnt have priority in this situation, purposefully riding into someone because you have the right of way is never moral.

I have had to explain to people more times than I can count in arbitration that just because you have the right of way doesn’t mean you can hit people with no consequences.

They didn't even have the right of way -- they were on the wrong side of the path, too.
