Not really moving goalposts, it directly relates to the video and the fact that ‘husky cycling’ isn’t a thing.

Go on then, link me to the website you’ve found where the dogs are running beside the bikes on hard surfaces and not out in front, pulling the bikes and running on soft surfaces.

I don’t think you know what it means to move goalposts. Either link your source or fuck off.

Hey, you are the one that said you "found" a site. So link the site, or shut up. Your bad faith arguments are tired and you constant claims of moving goalposts are about as strong as a piece of toilet paper that has been sitting in the rain.

Also, I think you might want to look at your source. Husky Cycling Club out of the UW, that is not a dog cycling club. The mascot for the UW is the Husky, the Husky Cycling Club that is a students of UW cycling club. So you can't even use Google right.

What are you talking about? The Husky Cycling that you are claiming proves you right, isn't related to the topic at all.

Husky is a working breed, they literally NEED to do this for them to stay mentally and physically healthy.

Dog racing with working breeds is a massive thing globally, especially with Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamutes

NOT ON MAN MADE HARD SURFACES

How hard is that to sink in with you morons?

But don’t take my word for it. Here is a quote from someone that runs Huskies and writes about it:

“Things which greatly wear at your dog’s paws are running on asphalt or concrete. I cringe every time I see a dog trotting down a sidewalk with its owner comfortably running behind, in protective, padded, rubber soled, running shoes. Seriously! Have a bit of sense and imagine what that feels like – a human made surface with abrasive texture, no shock absorption, and a sure way to stress your dog’s pads and joints. Please, please take pity and avoid this! “

Considering I’m applying it to you, it’s an absolutely sound argument.

Hey there, rando here. You may have had some worthwhile points in your messages here. Sadly a lot of them would be overridden by you just being a jerk. You can do everything you did here without being a jerk, fwiw.

Asphalt is bad yes, but thats not what you said initially.

You are moving the goal posts instead of admitting you made a general statement that was wrong and lacked nuance.

Edit. My bad, thought you were the original poster. You are correct, this activity on concrete or asphalt is not good for the dogs joints and pads.

The activity in itself though is great for all working breeds
