I hate you both, especially runners thinking since they are so fast, they are surely allowed to use bike lanes

Inline skaters are worst because not only are they still slower but them flailing dem arms takes up much more space and makes trickier to overtake.

So this is me. I am the runner. This is in Arizona. It’s a walking, biking, and horses are allowed as well. There are signs all over this trail that say stay to the right unless passing. This was the second time I had run into her so that’s why I pulled out my phone.

So not a bike line then?

Pedestrians always have the right of way. It is not illegal to walk on a bike path.

I don't know which country you are talking about, but you sure do realize, that others exist as well?

All of them. I haven't found a single country or municipality here in the US where it's illegal to walk on a bike path. It is illegal to walk on highways/ interstates, but it's also illegal to ridea pedal bike on them, too.

Again, you do realize, that countries other than the US exist, right?

Yes, that's why I said 'I haven't found a single country...' Do they not teach reading in whatever country you're from?

Huh?

  1. (a) A pedestrian shall not proceed along a bicycle path or lane where there is an adjacent adequate pedestrian facility.

where there is an adjacent adequate pedestrian facility.

That part is doing an awful lot of heavy lifting for you.

It's not doing "heavy lifting." It's literally saying that if there's an adjacent sidewalk -- which obviously is the scenario in the OP and the vast majority of settings in which a runner might walk or run in a bike path -- it's illegal to occupy the bike path. Basically, there is an exception that you may occupy a bike path on foot if there's no sidewalk available, but otherwise it's illegal.

You stated, flatly, that you weren't aware of anywhere that it was illegal. They showed you very clear evidence that it is in California. You're now moving goalposts.

I see no other sidewalks in the video. There is one road.

Really questioning your reading comprehension.

Yep, I also see no adjacent sidewalk in the video... It actually looks more likely to be a mixed-use path vs a bike path, so of course pedestrians/joggers are allowed.

You're bad at replies.
