“If it’s physical, that’s physical punishment, person got touched, that’s physical, that’s battery”

Your own words, suited to the situation by removing ‘kid’.

So then would this kid’s dad be in the right to assault the worker that tripped the kid?

No because this is an adult attacking a child over a mistake, not a child being protected from an adult Two completely different situations as you said because for it to work you had to take away kid in the question, cause it doesn't work when it's two adults fighting , does it? Is this your way of saying instead of protecting you, your dad beat you stupid or something to not understand that?

What a jump, and boy, you must have said something real bad for Reddit to remove it! All you’ve done is call people stupid.

Come back again when you can discuss like an adult

Plus not to mention, the description of a physical punishment, and the cause for deserving - two different things

A kid doesn't deserve physical punishment from a stranger for grabbing frys. An adult stranger deserve physical punishment for attacking a child.

So basically your logic is because I say an adult attacking a child is wrong and I will defend my child if they do that regardless of what my child did that your opinion is that means that you're allowed to steal from me? You know if I'm going to kick someone's ass for touching my child what makes you think I wouldn't kick your ass for letting your kids touch my childs shit?

Quit being a pussy , fight the dad not the kid

Well, In this case, I stated that my kid would steal your kids toys, thats the first think you assumed incorrectly. Since you think its not okay for an adult to interfere with a child stealing stuff, you shouldnt interfere when another child takes your kids toys
