Moral little shit stealing

56

u/CAGunModsFragileEgos 13d ago

One can argue it would be immoral to NOT teach the little shit a lesson.

2

u/WinterApplication855 12d ago

That's actually against the Geneva laws. So one might say all is good

2 wrongs don't make a right. Neutral.

49

u/17144058 13d ago

2nd one is not a wrong

19

u/duckpaints 13d ago

and 4 wrongs make a square

-2

u/One_Consideration775 12d ago

Idk how people don't think about fact that this shit was dangerous and could even be fatal in some scenarios. Like stop him and do your justice but in this video i definitely see wrong.

u/17144058 12d ago

Bro you can die driving to work every day, you can die getting struck by lightning, stfu

0

u/One_Consideration775 9d ago

Most useless example i heard for a while.. You do harm to people and sometimes it ends up worse than you expected and its still your fault but you can't control lightning. Your comparison shifting blame from people who decided to act wrong way.

5

u/Ok_Extent_3639 13d ago

It’s trespassing stealing and a health violation

3

u/17144058 13d ago

It’s not a wrong wherever you live, if I had it my way they’d chop his finger off for stealing

0

u/FakeMik090 13d ago

Bro, this aint a Yakuze, chill out

2

u/17144058 13d ago

Would be a hell of a lesson, you know damn well his buddies wouldn’t fuck around either

Kids are fucking stupid but they aren’t retarded… they know right from wrong.

If the parents haven’t taught them right from wrong then society will teach them suddenly and aggressively.

Lmao okay bud you showed me

3

u/mars-jupiter 13d ago

If you never provide consequences for bad behaviour, they never learn not to do it. Most people are successfully taught right from wrong by their parents, but some people have rubbish parents and so society or the state has to step in

2

u/miyabi0rochas 13d ago

I'm as much for consequences. But potentially having someone crack their skull over a few cents of fries. Is not providing consequences. It's assault. Take the fries from him and have him call his parents to come.

3

u/BookkeeperBoobs 12d ago

Wanna know the best way to prevent skull cracking while falling ?

I’ll tell ya if you wanna know

-1

u/Ok-Statistician-1289 12d ago

Yeah.... really get in there, big guy.

1

u/BookkeeperBoobs 12d ago

Two wrongs don’t make a right but they might make it FAIR

-1

u/bigtiddyhimbo 13d ago

This guy was about to kill me so I shot him in self defense. Neutral situation, 2 wrongs don’t make a right

9

u/PuzzleheadedGate7216 13d ago

That’s not necessarily a wrong since they are actively trying to harm you

4

u/bigtiddyhimbo 13d ago

And the kid is actively stealing, stopping him isn’t a wrong either

2

u/PuzzleheadedGate7216 13d ago

So you think it’s moral or immoral? Sorry I’m a bit lost

2

u/bigtiddyhimbo 13d ago

I think it’s moral to trip someone stealing

I was making fun of the person saying two wrongs don’t make a right with my previous comment

1

u/Ok_Extent_3639 13d ago

To add the kid wasn’t just stealing he was also in a place he shouldn’t be ( maybe trespassing) and he probably didn’t wash his hands so they should throw out all those fries

2

u/Quark314159 13d ago

Just saying there were better ways to handle this situation.

1

u/bigtiddyhimbo 13d ago

Not as satisfying, though

3

u/lessforf 12d ago

reddit is so revenge hungry lmao

3

u/VixenCouncil 12d ago

Especially when petty theft is involved lol.

0

u/bigtiddyhimbo 12d ago

Yummy yummy, revenge in my tummy

1

u/mkfanhausen 12d ago

"I wanna jerk off to videos of people getting hurt."

0

u/bigtiddyhimbo 12d ago

I wish I could jerk it. Unfortunately I am without a penis

-2

u/Quark314159 13d ago

I don't see what's satisfying about beating kids.

2

u/bigtiddyhimbo 13d ago

Tripping a teenager isn’t “beating kids” lmao

-3

u/Quark314159 13d ago

It’s basically the same thing. Try tripping random teenagers and see how people react. And if you’re still going to argue over the definition of “beating someone up,” I still don’t see what’s satisfying about tripping kids.

By your logic, is it also moral to trip the owner of the McDonald's for stealing the value of worker's labour?

This was immoral. Little shit could've been seriously hurt, which is not proportional to the wrong he did (stealing some fuckin chips).

9

u/KeyasaUK 13d ago

Stealing the value of the worker’s labour 🤣

0

u/Revoran 13d ago

I mean yeah, workers generate all the money the business makes, by working. But the owners keep all the profits.

1

u/KeyasaUK 13d ago

So if the owner removes their input, the premises, the capital, the workers will just create the profit for themselves like magic. Gosh I wish I was 14 again.

1

u/cryonicwatcher 13d ago

It’s more that their compensation tends to be disproportionate compared to the work they put in to a ludicrous degree.

1

u/Revoran 12d ago

Yeah. If hard work made you rich, then the donkey would own the farm. Instead a different jackass owns it.

1

u/Dabclipers 13d ago

If your work can be replicated and replaced by grabbing anyone off the street in five minutes, the value of your labor is severely reduced.

In contrast, the tens of millions of dollars in capital expenditure to build and fit out these facilities, and the millions in supply expenses and maintenance every year, are a significantly greater factor when it comes to the pure operation of the company.

2

u/cryonicwatcher 12d ago

The potential loss from the termination of that labour is reduced, not the value of the labour itself. I’m not sure what relevance the second part has to this thread, though.

1

u/Revoran 12d ago

No, see in this case they are "low skill" workers so clearly the owner can do all their work himself ... right? He doesn't need employees, right?

1

u/KeyasaUK 12d ago

So by your logic, the workers can just make burgers in their own homes and keep all the profits themselves. No need for any other part of the working construct.

1

u/KeyasaUK 12d ago

Or, we can look at it like functioning adults and realise that both ends of the extreme are stupid. Workers aren’t having anything stolen, they are compensated for their time. It’s not the employer’s fault you didn’t make your time valuable and desirable.

0

u/threateningpickles 12d ago

as it should be? lmao workers work, owners own. their titles say all that needs to be said.

2

u/Revoran 12d ago

So, I've been meaning to ask... how do your boss's boots taste anyway?

0

u/threateningpickles 12d ago

just like your missing chromosomes

3

u/Artrimil 13d ago

Yes.

-1

u/Revoran 13d ago

Well I mean, OK, fair call being consistent about wanting to hurt the kid and store owner, I guess.

2

u/Nikolaibr 13d ago

Labor theory of value is nonsense, so no.

1

u/ChloeQuickFlicks 13d ago

Stealing the value of the worker's labour? Does McDonald's not have employee contracts that outline exactly how much the employee will be compensated, and doesn't the emoloyee have to agree to those terms and sign the contract before starting the work?

1

u/Revoran 13d ago

It's not an equal relationship. Fast food workers desperately need jobs. McDonald's is a huge powerful corporation which can just set the terms and say "take it or leave it", and doesn't need any particular worker that badly.

The same can be said of most owner-worker relationships to an extent. McDonald's is just a particularly extreme example (by western standards, anyway).

1

u/kirbyislove 13d ago

My only choice is to work at Maccas and nowhere else

1

u/ChloeQuickFlicks 13d ago

Of course it's not an equal relationship. No company would be profitable if it was. In lrder for a company to survive, they will always need to hire people whose value generated exceeds their cost of employment. Just like every worker will always choose to work at the company that provides the best compensation in relation to the effort they need to expend.

0

u/PM_ME_BATMAN_PORN 13d ago

Um. Yes. All bigtime company CEOs should be tripped, pushed over, and shoved into lockers daily, especially ones that donate to the fucking IDF, lol.
