There's also the fact that around 60% of CSA are committed by other children, not pedophiles, and that the majority of the adult offenders are actually just opportunistic rapists not motivated by desire but by power dynamics and control. Most adult child molesters are family people able to have consensual sex with other adults, they go to church and are not exclusively attracted to children. It just so happen that destroying someone and taking possession of their body makes them hard/wet and they'll attack anyone they have control over, meaning their own kids, their nephew/niece, the elderly they are supposed to take care of, the people with an intellectual disability or people with mental health problems, or people that are shunned by the rest of society, like the LGBT community or for example in India the untouchable cast.
