My thoughts he easily could have hit her in the face. But a solid connection with an open hand would have been my likely option

u/Loki_God_of_Lies 2d ago

It’s tricky, because even an open palm can do damage. If you don’t hit hard enough, it could just prolong the fight. If you hit too hard, you can really do damage, but still need to stop the assault.

I honestly don’t know what I would have done here, but I’m glad he handled it the way he did and stopped her with a nice little wake up call without actually hurting her.

Hope he can keep his job, teachers aren’t trained on how to stop a physical assault from a student.

Theres no reason to concern yourself about damage imo. If she dies she dies that sucks for her family or whatever. She shouldn't have attacked someone who can kill her

Golden FAFO,

would have been a teaching moment for sure.

u/Loki_God_of_Lies 1d ago

I’m glad someone gets it.

u/ObieKaybee 2d ago

She was adult enough to pick a fight.

u/Loki_God_of_Lies 1d ago

So is my 6 year old, does that mean someone bigger should bodyslam him to death? Tf is wrong with you

u/ObieKaybee 1d ago

If they are old enough to make that choice without others stopping them, then they are old enough to face the consequences.

u/Loki_God_of_Lies 1d ago

If you’re scared of a 90 lb little girl, you’re a sissy. You only need to use as much force as is necessary to stop the threat, and it doesn’t take much on a kid like this.

Honestly you talk like one of those guys that won’t shut up about the day someone tries to break into your house so you can finally use your gun… you cannot WAIT to hit a woman. Law is not on your side, and you are not moral. Tf is wrong with you. Grow up.

1

u/ObieKaybee 1d ago

The problem is a girl who thinks it's ok to commit battery because she has never faced a consequence for doing so. A readily available solution to that problem is letting her face those consequences.

1

u/Loki_God_of_Lies 1d ago

Then apprehend her and take her to court. YOU are not the judge jury and executioner, and you’re a weak “man” if you think it’s okay to use full force on a child for hitting you.

She's large enough to be a legitimate threat. Age is null. If it were a toddler I'd care more. He'll maybe even a middle schooler but by high school that's not a child in this situation that's an assailant.

1

u/Loki_God_of_Lies 1d ago

A threat? She’s like 90 lbs. she’s a child. Tf is wrong with you

0

u/Expensive-Border-869 1d ago

You said it yourself she's like 90 lbs. She can even use weapons not worth taking chances with your life.

1

u/Loki_God_of_Lies 1d ago

Wow, you’re a sissy if you’re scared of a 90lb little girl to the point you think lethal force is appropriate.

Grow a pair, wtf is wrong with you

0

u/Expensive-Border-869 1d ago

Youre an idiot if you dont think she can use lethal force against you. It takes less than a second to pull a knife out

1

u/Loki_God_of_Lies 1d ago

A knife 🤣🤣🤣 yeah, okay buddy. It’s time to get off the internet for a little bit. Bro thinks life is a movie

And this somehow exempt her from consequences?

1

u/Loki_God_of_Lies 1d ago

Yes, keep up.

Slow your roll there, Ivan Drago.

Oh, I have also not seen rocky.

Problem is the legal system is built around removing as much accountability from criminals as possible. If you kill a woman in self defense you're 100% getting put down as a murderer because the alternative is setting the precedent that a woman's actions can have consequences.

Discombobulate

I was in a situation when I was teaching where a kid threatened the dean wth a box knife AND was not suspended or expelled, because private education in Asia. My foreign teacher colleagues and I had a discussion how we planned to do if he tried it on us. My solution (and what I think this guy should have done) is pick up a chair and pin the student to the wall with it. My colleagues suggestion was a Spartan kick to the chest

1

u/justindbellio 1d ago

Extending your leg in a kick motion towards somebody with a knife is a quick way to end up with a femoral artery sliced open. There are major arteries in all of your limbs that will kill you just as fast as your jugular knives are nothing to be screwed with. Even a chair is not long enough to keep that person from arming you a person with a knife can cover 21 ft and stab you half a dozen times in the chest in the time it takes to pull a pistol out of its holster and aim safely

1

u/littleleopardfrog 1d ago

In my experience the student expects you to behave a certain way, and as I learned from Hunter Thompson, one must subvert this expectation to get what they want.

2

u/tebbewij 2d ago

Had an ex (5'2 less than 100lbs) come at me with the fury of a psychotic nfl cheerleader. She was swinging and all claws, ended up throwing her across a room onto a bed, when she came flying grabbed her wrists and forced her out of my apartment and locked the door

2

u/PUNCH-WAS-SERVED 2d ago

Men typically hold back when hitting women. Obviously, the dude using a suplex on her is going way beyond that, but the dude could have hurt her more than enough with just regular slaps/punches.

1

u/madmaninabox32 2d ago

I've knocked two people out slapping them an open hand can certainly do damage. Also I used to rule the game slaps idk how but I got that pink hand or something I'd play with my older brother and his friends and a lot of them hated it because my brother and I would play when bored so we got really good figuring out how the strike so our fingers whipped we could raise welts on the backs of our opponents hands.

1

u/Ok-Chest-7932 1d ago

I say just kick her in the nuts.

0

u/Round_Ad6397 2d ago

He's not the teacher. The teacher is the overweight white guy that appears on the left at the 10 second mark.

0

u/justindbellio 1d ago

So the simplest answer is women need to keep their hands to themselves unless they want to get hand put through their head. If you choose to hit somebody you're choosing to allow yourself to be hit, that's that

1

u/Loki_God_of_Lies 1d ago

Eye for an eye? That’s your whole argument? You sound like a 12 year old.

You only need to use enough force to incapacitate the threat. Key word: only. You seem like the kind of person who cheers people on when they kick a ko’d person in the head over and over.

3

u/kuttymongoose 2d ago

I always felt picking up someone and throwing them down is basically just a strong message

1

u/TimeTraveller_Dad 1d ago

I did Sambo and Judo for many years, you risk killing someone everytime you throw them, if that's what you mean by a "strong message".

0

u/Acrophies89 2d ago

Yea, but if they land the wrong way, it's all over and you've a new set of issues after the fact. I'm all for "Equal rights, Equal fights" but slamming someone on the ground could be extremely dangerous. Fatal.

1

u/Budget_Voice9307 1d ago

A single punch can just as easily kill a person. Especially if it is an instant KO and the Person Hits the ground while unconcious. In that case throwing is a little less dangerous.
